Andy Black, Cliff "JohnnyBax" Josephy and a third player at the table got into an argument about the showing of hands and who was at fault during a certain hand.
After Josephy had won a pot against Black, he mucked his cards towards Black's direction. While the intent of the muck isn't known, Josephy did comment to Black that he could look if he wished. Black took the opportunity to lift the cards up for his view and discard them into the muck. The third player at the table, wanting to see the cards Josephy had agreed to share, took the two cards out of the muck and asked the dealer to reveal them for the whole table.
There are two rules at play in this situation. The first is that if you show one player at your table a hand, the entire table has the right to see it. Josephy did not violate this because he mucked his cards which were later legally retrieved by Black. The third player spent most of his time attacking Josephy even while Black was trying to take most of the blame. It didn't help, however, that Josephy was spending an equal amount of time arguing that the third player is not allowed to touch the muck pile, no matter the circumstances. This is also true.
In the end, the two players agreed to move past it and have been playing amicably ever since. It never hurts to have a brush up of the rules though, especially as we get deep into the series and people start studying every action by an opponent.
After raising to 1,000 from under-the-gun and picking up a caller in the hijack, Jonathan Karamalikis watched as the player in the small blind shoved all-in for his last 11,000 chips. The online phenom from Australia made the quick call, showed down his and was racing against the held by the small blind.
The flop of delivered three face cards, but none were dangerous for Karamalikis' hand. He now needed to dodge the case queen, a king, or a jack to win the pot.

With that, the Aussie known "Monster_Dong" in the online community eliminated a player from Day 1 and padded his stack to over 55,000 chips as we head to break.
From a couple of tables away we heard groans and exclamations of how sick it was. We got there in time to see Miami John Cernuto with tabled aces against a player holding pocket nines.
The board read and Cernuto's aces were cracked by a rivered straight. Cernuto headed to the rail.
Steven Van Zadelhoff had been cruising most of the evening with a big stack, accumulating chips consistently.
But a recent hand set him back a bit. Zadelhoff three bet his opponent with . His opponent four bet all in with and Zadelhoff called. The nines didn't stick, however. Pocket threes got there and Zadelhoff is now down to 14,500 after losing that nearly 20,000 chip pot.
When we saw Nichoel Jurgens last she had a different name. Most will remember her as Nichoel Peppe, who finished 75th in the 2009 Main Event, but in the past year she has gotten married and changed her name.
While counting her chips she won two pots in a row and chipped up about 7,000. She has 21,400 now.
We caught up with the action with the board reading and Elio Fox staring intently across the table at his opponent. Fox had bet 1,400 and his opponent had gone deep into the tank while he thought things over.
We heard the other player quietly announce "all-in" and Fox snap-called, tabling the for a flopped Broadway straight. His opponent made sure he was covered by Fox's stack and then made his way to the rail, while another player told Fox he was "back to running good."
Allen "Chainsaw" Kessler got his last 2,600 in preflop with against his opponents . The two players swapped outs when the flop fell . The turn card was bitter sweet for Kessler, who made his set but was now up against a straight. He needed the board to pair the river to survive but it was no use. The river was the and it ended Kesslers day.

After checks by van Zadelhoff and the UTG player, the button fired a 600 bet into the middle and both of his opponents made the call. The river fell and again it was checked to the button. With only a single 100 chip remaining, the button pushed all-in and was called in both spots. Van Zadelhoff and the other player both quickly mucked, however, when the button tabled for the triple-up.
Another player at the table seemed amused by the line that the button took in this hand, asking "you didn't even want to save the hundred just in case?" The button player responded "it's got to be worth more than that right?" while he stacked his newly earned chips.
From middle position Isaac Haxton was in a hand with the big blind. The flop was , the big blind checked and Haxton bet 1,500. The big blind raised to 4,000 and Haxton gave him a good long stare. Haxton slide out 8,000 and the big blind kicked his hand in the muck.
Either the player under the gun, Tony Dunst, or a player in middle position got in a raise preflop before the cutoff three bet to 2,600. When it folded back around to Dunst, he decided to move all in for his final 11,000 or so. The player in middle position also went all in for more than 17,000 forcing the three bettor in position to fold.
