Amritaksha Basu Eliminated in 15th Place ($15,973)

Livello 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Anders Meli opened for 17,000 and David Diaz called. Amritaksha Basu moved all in behind them for 46,500. Both Diaz and Meli called. They went to the flop three-handed and it came {8-Clubs} {3-Spades} {7-Hearts}.

Meli checked, Diaz bet 65,000 and Melli went over the top and moved all in. Diaz called and another large sidepot was made. The hands were tabled:
Diaz: {J-Spades} {J-Diamonds}
Meli: {3-Diamonds} {3-Clubs}
Basu: {Q-Hearts} {8-Diamonds}

Meli was ahead with a flopped set and Diaz need help to catch up. The flop and river came {10-Hearts} {5-Spades} and Meli collected both pots and is up to 788,000.

"That was an interesting, interesting, interesting hand"

Livello 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

So said Denis Gnidash, who was seated at the table when two big stacks clashed.

Nicholas Rampone raised to 16,000 from the cutoff and Andrea Dato reraised from the button to 35,000. When it folded back to Rampone he made it four bets sliding out 80,500 chips. Not to be out done, Dato five bet to 135,000 before the raising finally stopped with Rampone's call.

The flop came {10-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and while that seems like an action board, both players slowed down and checked. The turn was the {Q-Hearts} and after some thought, Rampone bet 172,000 and Dato began to tank. Already a couple of minutes into the break, Dato finally let it go. They have already made promises to each other to reveal their hands when this tournament concludes and we definitely hope to be around when that conversation takes place.

Bradley McFarland Eliminated in 17th Place ($12,592)

Livello 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Bradley McFarland raised under the gun to 18,000, the cutoff flatted and David Diaz three bet from the button to 50,000. McFarland decided to four bet to 100,000, the player in the cutoff folded and Diaz moved all in. McFarland called with less, somewhere around 300,000 chips, and the hands were turned up.

McFarland: {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}
Diaz: {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}

McFarland was in a world of hurt and the {2-Clubs}{K-Spades}{8-Clubs} flop left him drawing to runner-runner. The turn {5-Diamonds} sealed the deal and McFarland will have to settle with 17th.
