Now that the bubble has burst and the level has come to an end, players are on a 20-minute break.

Brutal Way To Bubble, But Somone Has To Do It

John Hoppman raised preflop only to find one of the largest stacks in the field, Tyler Bonkowski call him.

The flop came {6-Hearts} {6-Clubs} {6-Spades} much to the surprise of the table. Hoppmann wasted no time after Bonkowski checked to him, and fired out a bet. Bonkowski was not going anywhere and made the call.

Hoppmann soon found himself all-in after a series of bets on the {9-Clubs} turn. Unfortunately for Hoppmann there was nothing he could do as his opponent held {Q-Diamonds} {6-Diamonds} for quads. A disheveled Hoppmann simply spent the last seconds of his tournament life looking at his {10-} {10-} in dismay as a meaningless {A-Spades} hit the river.

Hoppmann was eliminated in 37th place and is this tournaments bubble boy.

Slow Going

Livello 16 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

The action has slowed to a snail's pace during hand-for-hand action. Everyone seems intent on making the money. However, David "ODB" Baker is one of the short stacks and recently Tweeted: "1 from the $ in the 3k limit I'm the shortest stack with 4BBs. Need some serious help!"

Dmitry Gromov Wants No One Else To Have the Chip Lead

Four players called a bet in order to get to see a flop that read {6-Clubs} {7-Spades} {5-Clubs}. The small blind saw something he liked and bet out, he received two callers. Among the callers was our current chip leader Dmitry Gromov, who easily could afford to call the bet.

The {3-Clubs} hit on the turn and again the small blind bet out. A player in late position seriously considered calling for a good two minutes, before he decided to wait for a better spot to risk not cashing; however, Gromov instantly called.

An {A-Hearts} spiked on the river and for the first time in the hand the small blind checked. Gromov was going to have none of that and sent out a bet. The small blind eventually made the call and was disappointed to see Gromov holding {K-Clubs} {J-Clubs}.

It was interesting to note that both the small blind and the player in late position who folded on the turn both claimed to of had a pair of queens in their whole cards.

Mizzi Doubles Up Traniello

We missed the action preflop in this blind versus blind battle but several bets were already in preflop when Sorel Mizzi and Marco Traniello saw a {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop. Mizzi checked blind and Traniello bet. Mizzi made the call and called Traniello’s all in bet for 2,500 on the {3-Hearts} turn.

Traniello: {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}
Mizzi: {K-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}

Traniello would have to avoid a King or a three on the river to double up and he did just that when the {Q-Diamonds} hit.

Suelflow Sends Racener to the Rail

Action folded to Matt Suelflow on the button and he pit in a raise. John Racener was in the small blind and got his remaining 11,500 in the middle.

Suelflow: {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Racener: {A-Clubs}{7-Clubs}

Suelflow was in a dominating position, even after the {Q-Clubs}{2-Spades}{8-Spades} flop. The {Q-Spades} turn gave Racener some chop outs, but the {4-Hearts} river did not deliver. Racener's elimination leaves us just two eliminations from the money.
