Action folded to Marco Traniello in the small blind and he decided to put in a raise. I Alexander Freitez was in the big blind and decided to fight back with a three-bet. Traniello made the call and then check-called the flop. When the hit the turn, Taniello was the one to bet out, and Freitez came along for the ride.
It went check-bet-call on the turn, and Traniello showed for a pair of aces; however, Freitez held for a flopped two pair to take down the pot.

After a raise from JJ Liu, Justin Young and Shawn Buchman proceeded to get into a raising war that put the short-stacked Young all in. Liu got out of the way, and the two were heads up at the showdown.

Yesterday, Event #19 $2,500 Limit Hold’em/Six Handed drew 354 runners and created a prizepool of $805,350. Headed into Day 2 of the tournament, only 130 players remain in contention for the $213,431 first-place prize. Unfortunately, only 36 of those players will get paid. Leading the way is Samuel Golbuff with 63,900 in chips, followed closely by Mark Gryglik’s 57,000. Interestingly, the latter player fresh of a 15th-place finish in Event #14 $3,000 Limit Hold’em.
