Chalk Up One for Mortensen

Carlos Mortensen: {J-Hearts}{10-Hearts} / {7-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} / {4-Hearts}
Two-seat: {6-Clubs}{5-Clubs} / {5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{K-Spades} / {7-Spades}

After the one-seat brought in, the three-seat raised before Carlos Mortensen reraised. The others got out of the way before the cards were revealed and Mortensen's hand scooped the pot.

Last Second Entries

Livello 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

The end of the break after 4 levels is the last chance players have to register, and it looks like Michael Binger, Huck Seed, Phil Hellmuth, and Barry Greenstein are some of the many who entered just before the break clock hit all zeros.

Clean Up on Table 132!

Livello 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

In our last run through of the yellow section, we noticed that table 132 was completely empty, despite being surrounded by tables full of players. When we asked the floor, they said that someone spilled coffee all over the table, and they had to move it to the other yellow section. That table included Vitaly Lunkin, but we just saw him get out of his seat with no chips in front, meaning he has been eliminated.

Mercier No Good

Jason Mericer: {x-}{x-} / {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{8-Spades} / {X-} MUCKED
Opponent: {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} / {J-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} / {3-Spades}

An opponent raised after the initial deal and found one caller in American Team PokerStars Pro Jasion Mercier, before betting again on fourth street. Mercier called, then the opponent check-called Mericer on fifth street before both players checked down sixth and seventh streets. The opponent's hand scooped the pot and left Mercier with 4,100 in chips.

Short Stack Saved On River

Livello 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

D'Agostino: {2-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} / {3-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{8-Clubs} / {10-Spades}
Opponent: {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{7-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{4-Hearts}

John D'Agostino and a short stack got into a raising war on third street that led to the opponent being all in. D'Agostino had the lead with two aces going into the final street, and his opponent needed to catch two apir or a low card to get any part of the pot. He caught the {4-Hearts}, and they chopped it up. D'Agostino still sits as one of our chip leaders with 12,500.

Steicke Comes Unstuck

Livello 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

David Steicke: {x-}{x-} / {K-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{J-}{x-} / {x-}
Three-seat: {x-}{x-} / {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{2-Spades}{10-Clubs} / {x-}
Seven-seat: {x-}{x-} / {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{4-Spades} / {x-}

The one-seat brought in and the three-seat completed before Steicke raised all-in. The seven-seat called, the one-seat got out of the way and the three-seat also called, making it heads-up into fourth street. The three-seat bet and the seven-seat called before they both checked fifth street.

On sixth street, the three-seat bet and the seven-seat called before both players checked the river. The three-seat showed {A-Clubs}{K-}{7-} and the seven-seat tabled {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{3-Hearts}, chopping up the pot and leaving Steicke with nothing.

We can also report that David Williams has also been eliminated.
