A quick look around the Pavilion Room and we've seen plenty of players finding their seats. In the Black section we've seen Nicholas Levi, Bruce Buffer, Leo Wolpert, Justin Young, Jon Van Fleet and Isaac Haxton.
Over in the Yellow section we've seen Daniel Kelly, Allen Bari, Vivek Rajkumar, Matt Stout, David Benyamine and Adam Levy. A table we're going to keep our eyes on has Tom Dwan and last year's six handed soul crusher Jeffrey Papola. Also, Phil Laak and Jean-Robert Bellande are on the same table -- should be a quiet one.
There's a lot of empty seats in the Pavilion Room at the moment. The board reads 977 entrants at this point and maybe half the field has shown up for the start of the first level.
Welcome back to the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino for our second No-Limit Hold'em Six-Handed event of the series. The first No-Limit Hold'em Six-Handed event of the series (Event #10: No Limit Hold'em / Six Handed) had a $1,500 buy in and drew 1,920 players, with Geffrey Klein winning the bracelet and taking home $544,388.
Today's six-handed event has a $2,500 buy in and we are expecting to get a crowd full of big names. We have all of the yellow, black, white, and half the green dedicated to this event. Last year within a span of week Jeffrey Papola had a second place finish and a first place finish in two six-handed events, the $2,500 and the $5,000 that he won.
