Pearson Stays Afloat

Livello 25

Stud 8/b

We picked up the action on fourth street, three ways.

Kendall Fukumoto: (x-x) / {a-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds} / (x)
Brian Haveson: (x-x) / {6-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{3-Spades} / (x)
Travis Pearson: (x-x) / {2-Spades}{6-Spades}{a-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} / (x)

On fourth street, Fukumoto and Haveson checked, and Pearson bet all in for his last, lonely 4,000 chips. Fukumoto tried to complete it to 25,000, but the rules prohibit a check-raise in that spot. It was a call, and Haveson flicked the 4,000 into the pot as well. Pearson was at risk.

On fifth, both live players checked, and Fukumoto bet on sixth street. Haveson called, and they both checked again through seventh street.

Haveson showed {a-Spades}{5-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for a decent low, and Pearson tabled {a-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} for aces up. Fukumoto was working with {4-Spades}{5-Hearts} / {a-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}, drawing live to scoop. He pulled a blank {10-Clubs}, though, and Haveson and Pearson chop it up.

Pearson is back to 85,000 now.
