On a 
flop, David "The Dragon" Pham got his last ~80,000 into the middle with 
. It's hard to fault the shove, but Kent Padgett had flopped the joint with 
. Pham needed help in a hurry, but the 
turn left him drawing dead. The 
river was meaningless, and Padgett is doing some good work over there. The knockout of Pham moves him up to 470,000 from his starting count of 183,000.
A couple hands ago, Nam Le opened with a raise under the gun, and Kent Padgett three-bet shoved on him. Le spent a long while in the tank before folding, and Padgett smacked his unlit cigar between his lips as he stacked up the pot.
Three hands later, Padgett opened to 25,000 in early position, and Le three-bet shoved from the button. He had about 130,000 chips left, and Padgett made the call with 
for most of his own chips, too. Le was racing with 
, but the board ran 
to send him on his way.
Padgett is up to about 280,000 now.
Bradley Augsburger moved all in preflop and Benjamin Jenkins moved in right behind them. Action folded around and Augsburger tabled 
and Jenkins held 
. The board ran 
and Aubsburger's jacks held sending Jenkins to the rail.
Kevin Eyster and Thomas Middleton got it all in before the flop, but we walked up too late to see how it happened. However it went, but men were in with fairly marginal hands, Eyster in front with 
against Middleton's

Middleton ran out better, though, as the board came 
. It looks like he was all in for just over 200,000, and he's doubled to 430,000 with that pair of queens. Eyster could afford the payoff, but he's down to 190,000 now, essentially cut in half.

Day 3 of the $2,500 No Limit Hold'em event has 39 players returning, all with hopes to end the night with a new piece of jewelry. Thomas Miller is returning as the chipleader with 1.5 million -- a solid lead on the field. But with Randy Dorfman, Dwyte Pilgrim and Nam Le in the field he'll have some work to do.
Also returning are Eddy Sabat, Steven Watts, Lars Bonding, David Pham.
The five starting tables makes for a daunting task to play down to a winner. The ten level mark may be reached and then would return for a fourth day to crown a winner.
