Eugene Katchalov found himself all in against Tom Dwan and Michael Binger. Both active players checked the flop before Dwan fired out on the . Binger called, but then folded when Dwan bet the on the river.
Katchalov tabled his , but it would be Dwan's that would see him collect the pot and eliminated Katchalov on the bubble.
We came in on the river when the board read and Shawn Buchanan bet with Felipe Ramos calling. Buchanan showed for the nut flush and Ramos mucked leaving him with only 20,000. With 26 to go, he is in danger of being one of our bubble boys.
We're not sure about all the details, but Fu Wong just took out Chris Tryba in Stud-8 with a full house. That makes 26 left with 24 paying. With half an hour left in the day we may get to the money before we leave for the night.
Pawel Andrzejewski raised the button to 20,000 only to have Daniel Ospina three-bet the small blind. Tom Dwan smooth-called from the big blind as Andrzejewski committed his 22,000 total.
Dwan fired every street as the final board read with Ospina check-calling the whole way.
Dwan showed his , but when Ospina tabled his , Dwan and Andrzejewski mucked with Andrzejewski hitting in the rail.
We saw Michael Binger scoop a huge earlier in Stud-8 to get him a huge stack and, well, he's done it again, this time against Pawel Andrzejewski. We're not sure how it all went down, but we saw Binger scooping the massive pot with twos full of fives and Andrzejewski looking dejected and tossing his hand into the muck.
Andrzejewski is left with only 60,000 here as we approach the money bubble and Binger has moved himself up to 480,000 and the slight chip lead
Catching the action on fourth street, Frankie O'Dell bet out and was called by both Daniel Alaei and Kyle Loman before fifth street was checked through. Sixth street saw Loman lead as both players called before Alaei led on seventh as Loman and O'Dell each committed 20,000.
Loman tabled his for a seven-six low and scooped the pot to move to 350,000 as Alaei was left severely crippled with barely enough to post half a big bet.
Tom McCormick: (X)(X) / / (X)
Fu Wong: (X)(X) / / (X)
On third street Tom McCormick showed an ace and raised with Fu Wong calling. On fourth, fifth, and sixth streets McCormick bet out with Wong calling each time. On seventh, McCormick was all in for his last few chips and Wong made the call.
McCormick showed for aces and jacks and he doubled up to 125,000. Wong still has plenty of chips after the hand though with 300,000
