Tsinis Chippin' Away

Michael Blanovsky is starting to slip further away from the 38th WSOP bracelet, now down to 3.3 million in chips.

Blanovsky raised to 200,000 from the button and Tsinis called before checking his option on the flop of {K-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}. Blanovsky opened for 275,000, but Tsinis then check-raised to 775,000. Blanovsky called, only to fold after Tsinis slid out a bet worth 1.2 million on the turn of the {4-Clubs}. Tsinis is now back up to around 6.6 million in chips.

Tsinis Rides the See-Saw

Livello 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Arkadiy Tsinis has undone most of Michael Blanovsky's work in this heads-up battle royale to get back up to more than six million in chips.

Earlier, Tsinis limped in from the button and Blanovsky checked, only to check fold after Tsinis opened for 200,000 after the flop of {10-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}. In the very next hand, Blanovsky raised to 200,000 from the button and Tsinis called before checking the flop of {7-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{7-Spades}, but this prompted Blanovsky to fire out 125,000.

Tsinis then proceeded to check-raise to 325,000, but Blanovsky returned fire, making it 700,000 to go. Tsinis called, then both players checked the turn of the {K-Clubs} before Tsinis bet out two million on the river {5-Hearts}. Blanovsky mulled it over, but decided he wanted nothing more to do with the hand and laid it down.

Closing the Gap

Arkadiy Tsinis is probably not having the best time out there, as his heads-up opponent Michael Blanovsky brings the margin even closer in this battle for the WSOP Event #38 bracelet.

Earlier, Blanovsky raised to 200,000 from the button and Tsinis called before both players checked the flop of {Q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{10-Hearts}, only to see Tsinis check-fold after Blanovsky bet 275,000 on the turn of the {6-Diamonds}.

A few hands later, Blanovsky raised to 200,000 and Tsinis called before opening for 250,000 after the flop of {8-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}. Blanovsky called, then Tsinis led out for 300,000 on the turn of the {3-Spades}, but quickly folded after Blanovsky raised to 1.2 million.

Advantage Blanovsky

Livello 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Michael Blanovsky is now slowly starting to pick up more and more chips from Arkadiy Tsinis to bring the chip counts close to even.

Earlier, Tsinis limped in from the button and Blanovsky checked from the big blind before both players checked the flop of {3-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}. Blanovsky then led out for 125,000 on the turn of the {3-Clubs} and Tsinis called before Blanovsky fired out 375,000 on the river {4-Diamonds}. Tsinis went into the tank for almost three minutes before mucking his hand.

In the next hand, Blanovsky raised to 200,000 from the button and Tsinis called, only to fold after Blanovsky opened for 275,000 after the flop of {10-Spades}{4-Spades}{2-Hearts}. Soon after that, Tsinis raised to 190,000 from the button and Blanovsky called, then both players checked the flop and turn of {7-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{5-Spades} before Blanovsky check-called Tsinis' bet of 300,000 on the river {K-Hearts}.

Blanovsky tabled {Q-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for the pair and Tsinis mucked his hand.

The Mexican Stand-Off Continues

There appears to be no end in sight for this heads-up battle, but when you're battling for a WSOP bracelet, you expect nothing less. You just gotta keep on keeping on.

Earlier, Arkadiy Tsinis raised to 180,000 from the button and Michael Blanovsky called before both players checked the flop of {Q-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{7-Spades}. From there, Tsinis check-folded after Blanovsky's bet of 150,000 on the turn of the {10-Diamonds}, then in the next hand, he called Blanovsky's raise of 180,000 from the big blind to go to the flop of {3-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{9-Hearts}.

Tsinis opened for 250,000 and Blanovsky called, then both players checked down the turn of the {J-Hearts} and the river {2-Hearts} before Tsinis showed {K-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for a pair, which was good enough to take down the pot.

Tsinis Slips More Chips

Livello 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Michael Blanovsky has taken a couple more pots from Arkadiy Tsinis as this heads-up battle continues.

Earlier, Tsinis limped in from the button and Blanovsky checked before both players checked the flop of {8-Spades}{4-Spades}{Q-Spades}. Blanovsky then checked to Tsinis on the turn of the {A-Spades}, only to fold after Tsinis bet 140,000.

Two hands later, Tsinis limped in and Blanovsky checked before leading out for 115,000 after the flop of {3-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{J-Clubs}. Tsinis called, but folded after Blanovsky fired out 275,000 on the turn of the {6-Clubs}.

Then in the very next hand, Blanovsky raised to 200,000 and Tsinis called before both players checked the {J-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{9-Spades} flop, but Tsinis check-folded after Blanovsky's bet of 275,000 after the turn of the {4-Spades}.

Blanovsky Doubles Through With Nut Straight

Michael Blanovsky Doubles Through With The Nuts
Michael Blanovsky Doubles Through With The Nuts

Michael Blanovsky found his stack dwindling and decided to raise to 200,000 from the button. Arkadiy Tsinis wanted to see the flop and made the call.

Flop: {4-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{K-Spades}

Tsinis tapped the table and Blanovsky made it 150,000 to go. After Tsinis called, the turn card came {Q-Hearts} and both players checked.

River: {8-Diamonds}

Tsinis led out on the river with a big bet of 500,000 and Blanovsky pushed right back, sliding his entire stack forward for an all-in move. After some thought, Tsinis looked to finish things off and made the call with his {8-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for a rivered two-pair.

While the river was a good card for Tsinis, it was the best card for Blanovsky and he revealed the {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for the nut straight. The double-up pushed Blanovskly to 3,440,000 and put a dent in Tsisni's chip lead.

Chip Trading Convention

Livello 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Coming out of the break, Arkadiy Tsinis opened for 160,000 and Michael Blanovsky came along. The flop fell {10-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{A-Spades} and Blanovsky checked to Tsinis, whose 200,000 continuation bet earned him the pot.

After Blanovsky received a walk in the next hand, Tsinis decided to try limping in from the button. Blanovsky checked and the dealer flopped the {6-Spades}{8-Spades}{2-Diamonds}. Blanovsky checked to Tsinis, who fired 125,000 and dragged the pot his way after a quick fold.
