, Bill Chen checked and Jan Fernandez bet 2,500. Van Marcus made the call, at which point Chen sprang to life with a check-raise to 14,000. Fernandez thought for a solid minute before reraising pot.
"Alright, I'm all in," Marcus shouted. Before the chips were even in the middle, both Chen and Fernandez had called. Fernandez had his two opponents covered, so he was the only player not at risk.

Chen had flopped two pair and an open-ended straight draw, but was up against the top set and flush draw of Marcus. However, Fernandez held an even better flush draw. The dealer quickly burned and slammed down the 
giving Fernandez the said flush and the lead. Chen was drawing dead while Marcus needed the board to pair in order to survive.
Unfortunately for him, the 
blanked on the river and Fernandez scored the double knockout.
