We didn't catch all the preflop action, but we know a huge pot developed when David Hedley was all in preflop holding against the of David Lestock. Almost the entire table was on its feet as the flop came out , keeping Hedley in the lead.
When the hit the turn, Lestock hit two pair and vaulted into the lead. While he didn't need it, the river gave Lestock a straight. Hedley was eliminated from the tournament while Lestock added the sizeable pot to his already massive stack.
Fabien Perrot raised to 12,000 under the gun and was met with a pot-sized reraise from Claudio Rinaldi in the cutoff. Action folded back to Perrot and he called all in for 13,300.
Perrot:
Rinaldi,
The flop was not much help to Perrot, but the turn did give him an open-ended straight draw. Lucky for Rinaldi, the river blanked and he sent his opponent to the rail.
Meanwhile, Scott Gledhill was also eliminated from the tournament.
Cedric Adam was under the gun and raised to 9,000. Joshua Budin was in the small blind and made the call. It was heads up to the flop, which Budin checked. Adam bet 10,000, and Budin check-raised the pot, which put him all in at 35,900. Adam tanked for about 90 seconds before sliding in a call.
Adam:
Budin:
To say it was a good flop for Budin would be an understatement. He had flopped top pair with a flush draw to boot, making him a huge favorite. The turn gave him the said flush and ensured his double. Not that it matters, but the was the river card.
Mark Radoja is out after he was all in with against Jonas Mackoff's . We didn't see which way the board came out as the dealer pushed the cards together quickly but the board was composed of making Mackoff a flush to eliminate his opponent.
