Perry Fried

Omaha 8

Perry Friedman was all in preflop in a four way pot with Scotty Nguyen, Kevin Iacofano and Michael Mizrachi. On a {K-Spades}{10-Spades}{7-Hearts} flop it was checked to the button Mizrachi who bet, Nguyen check-raised and Iacofano folded. Mizrachi folded and Nguyen bet out on the {Q-Hearts} turn declaring, "Raise it up baby."

Mizrachi sighed, "My spades are no good," mucking a nine-high flush draw.

"Of course, they're no good baby!" said Nguyen as he turned over {A-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} for the nut flush draw. Friedman, who was all in blind flipped {Q-Spades}{3-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} - a decent, and more importantly, ahead hand.

"I just want an ace baby!" said Nguyen and even when it was pointed out he couldn't win with an ace, he didn't care saying, "just give me an ace baby."

The river was the {J-Spades} and Nguyen made the nut flush despite the number of spades already out of action.

Scotty Captures Friedman

Livello 17

Omaha 8

Scotty Nguyen raised from under the gun, and it folded around to Perry Friedman who called from the big blind. The pair would follow the same routine on the {8-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} flop, the {K-Hearts} turn, and the {K-Diamonds} river, with Friedman check-calling Nguyen's bets on each street. The last call came after some deliberation, as it only left Friedman just 1,000 chips behind.

Nguyen showed {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{6-Spades}{4-Hearts} for tens and kings, and Friedman showed two of his cards -- {A-Hearts}{9-Clubs} -- before mucking.

"I thought you had something like that, baby," said a grinning Nguyen. "I set him up, baby!"

Friedman is likely not long for this one, while Nguyen is now up over 120,000.

Scotty Bets Blind, Uribe Undone

Livello 17

Stud 8

Maya Roca Uribe had the bring in with the {4-Hearts} showing. Scotty Nyugen had an {A-Spades} up and told Uribe, "I complete blind, baby," doing so without checking his hole cards.

The pair followed a similar routine the next three streets with Nguyen catching two low cards, then another ace, and each time saying "I bet blind, baby." Uribe called on each street until he was all in for his last 8,000 on sixth.

Uribe ({5-Hearts})({7-Spades}) {4-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{8-Spades}{9-Diamonds}
Nguyen ({J-Spades})({A-Hearts}) {A-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{A-Clubs}

Nguyen had trip aces for a high, but no draw to a low, meaning Uribe could either make a low and chop or pick up a six for a straight and scoop if Nguyen didn't improve.

Nguyen turned over his seventh-street card first -- {9-Clubs} -- and Uribe squeezed his to find the {4-Diamonds} for two pair. Uribe is out, and Nguyen up to 90,000.

Rutter Runs Out

Livello 17

Omaha 8

Stuart Rutter raised from the button, and Brandon Shack-Harris three-bet from the big blind. Rutter called. The flop came {8-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{K-Hearts}, and Shack-Harris bet. Rutter had but 8,000 left, put it all in, and Shack-Harris called.

Shack-Harris {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{2-Clubs}
Rutter {A-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades}{3-Diamonds}

Tough spot for Rutter, who after studying the situation called once for a trey to come. But the turn was the {7-Hearts} and river the {10-Hearts}, and Rutter is out. Shack-Harris has about 63,000.

Flash the Ash

Stud 8

Richard Ashby: {x-}{x-} / {2-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{6-Clubs} / {x-}
Michael Leah: {x-}{x-} / {8-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} / {x-}
Thomas Keller: {x-}{x-} / {10-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{K-Spades} FOLDED

Richard Ashby had the bring in and Michael Leah completed, Thomas Keller and Ashby both called. On fifth, Ashby checked, Leah bet and the other two players called. Leah bet on fifth, Keller folded and Ashby check-raised. Leah called and called further bets on sixth and seventh.

Ashby showed {A-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} for trip deuces, Leah held {A-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} for aces up but no low allowing the Brit to scoop the pot.

Arieh Koral-ed

Josh Arieh

Stud 8

Thomas Koral brought it in, then called Josh Arieh's raise. Arieh bet fourth, Koral raised, and Arieh called. Arieh led again on fifth and was called, then bet on sixth, Koral raised, and Arieh committed his last chips.

Koral - ({7-Diamonds})({6-Diamonds}) {4-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}
Arieh - ({A-Diamonds})({6-Spades}) {8-Clubs}{9-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}

Koral already had the high locked up, but Arieh could still make a better low. Seventh street was dealt, Koral picked up the {J-Spades}, and Arieh an unhelpful {K-Hearts}. Arieh is out in 36th, and Koral now has about 120,000.
