Men Lose

Livello 8 : 300/600, 0 ante

A short-stacked player raised from under the gun, and Men Nguyen flatted from a couple of seats over. It folded back to the small blind who reraised the pot, the big blind (with much anguish) folded, and the original raiser committed the last of his chips. After a lot of talk about side pots and other matters, Nyugen announced he was calling the reraise. "How much you got left?" asked the repotter from the SB of Nguyen. "4,100," came the reply.

The flop came {4-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{8-Clubs}, the SB bet pot, and Nyugen called with the last of his chips.

SB {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}
UTG {A-Clubs}{J-Spades}{5-Clubs}{5-Spades}
Nguyen {J-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}

"Why you calling with that, brother?" asked the player in the small blind of Nguyen. "All the low cards out," said Nguyen in reply. The turn was the {9-Diamonds} and river the {K-Diamonds}, meaning there was no low, and the player in the small blind had the best high, scoring two knockouts including Nguyen.
