Fricke Falters a Bit

Livello 15

No Limit Hold'em

Jon Lane raised in middle position to 10,500 and was called by Jimmy Fricke in late position. The flop came {k-Spades}{8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} and Lane checked to Fricke who bet 14,000. Lane then raised to 40,000 and Fricke opted to call. When the {2-Hearts} hit on the turn Lane bet out 40,000 and Fricke called once more. After the {5-Clubs} fell on the river both players checked.

Lane revealed his {k-Hearts}{q-Spades} and Fricke mucked his hand. Fricke was left with 111,000 while Lane boosted his stack up to 340,000.

Boeken Busts One

No Limit Hold'em

Jonathan Jaffe raised from middle position to 10,500, William Kakon then moved all in from the cut off for 53,000. A silent Noah Boeken then flat called from the small blind. Jaffe folded and cards were tabled.

Kakon: {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Boeken: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

The cards fell {q-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{4-Spades}, Kakon wasn't able to grab hold of anything and was summarily eliminated. With this pot Boeken now sits above 350,000 in chips and is not someone to be messed with.

A Nicholas Wilbur Story by Nicholas Wilbur

Livello 15

We didn't see what happened when Nicholas WIlbur was eliminated, but after he was knocked out he tracked us down and wanted to make sure we got the hand he went bust on.

According to him, he had around 28,000 in chips and moved all in from under the gun. Action then folded around to Brian England in the small blind who also moved all in for around 75,000 in chips. Everyone else folded and cards were flipped over.

Wilbur: {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}
England: {A-Hearts}{8-Clubs}

The cards came out {9-}{8-}{3-}{A-}{k-} and England was awarded the put with two pair aces of eights. WIlbur unfortunately settled for a pair of aces and a bust out. Wilbur will be taking home $9,747 for his efforts today.

Livello 15

We just lost James Calderaro in 28th place and with that, players have redrawn seats and are getting situated at the final three tables. We'll have an updated table draw and chip counts for you shortly.

Three Tables Left

Limit Hold'em

A player in early position made a bet and was left with less than one more bet, lucky for him Vincent van der Fluit reraised and gave him some protection. The early position short stack called and was all in.

Short Stack: {A-Hearts}{9-Spades}
Fluit: {Q-}{j-}

The flop came out {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{8-Spades} giving the short stack top two pair and Fluit a gut shot straight draw. A {k-} touched down on the turn, and Fluit would need a ten and a ten only in order to deliver the knock out blow. Indeed th last card was the {10-Spades} and Fluit was able to hit his straight and send his opponent to the rail.

We now have 27 players left and are redrawing to three tables
