McLean Karr raised to 36,000 from the cutoff and Jonathan Jaffe made the call from the big blind. Jaffe then checked the flop, Karr bet 32,000, and Jaffe check-raised to 80,000. Karr thought a moment before putting in a three-bet and Jaffe called all in for a total of 270,000.
Jaffe had made a big call to catch Karr in a bluff, but he still needed to dodge the two overs. He did so when the hit the turn, leaving just the river. As fate would have it, the rolled off and allowed Jaffe to double through Karr.
