The penultimate day has concluded in Event #15: $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better here at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas. After ten action-packed levels, only 14 players remain from 192 hopefuls who had advanced to Day 2.

Caleb Furth ended the night with a massive chip lead over the rest of his competitors, finishing with 7,450,000 chips worth 124 big blinds going into the final day. Furth began the day with an above-average stack and was under the radar for most of the day until climbing to the top of the chip counts in the later levels. He has almost twice the chips of his nearest rival and is most closely followed by Andrew Paterson (3,980,000) and Walter Chambers (3,870,000).

Among the notables who remain in contention is start-of-day chip leader Daniel Lowery. Lowery was cruising at the top of the counts for most of the day but took some hits in the last few levels of the evening. In the penultimate level of the night, he doubled up Brian Ng and was left with just over five big blinds. Despite going into the three-table redraw with easily the shortest stack, Lowery made an admirable comeback and ultimately finished the night with 1,915,000.

PokerNews Podcast co-host Mike Holtz was active throughout the day and after scooping a massive pot off Jonathan Dimmig he enjoyed the chip lead for several levels midway through the day. His momentum was finally slowed down after doubling up Nathan Gamble, but he still managed to end the night with 1,420,000 chips.

The third and final day begins tomorrow, June 6, at 12 p.m. local time. The blinds will start at 30,000/60,000 with a 60,000 big blind ante, and the intention is to play to a winner.

As always, stay tuned to PokerNews for all the action for this event from the moment cards are in the air on the final day until a winner is crowned.

Brian Ng shoved for 60,000 from the cutoff and Yuval Bronshtein raised to 155,000 from the button. Caleb Furth four-bet to 520,000 from the big blind and Bronshtein made the call.

The flop came 910A. Furth bet 700,000, Bronshtein moved all in for about 1,100,000 and Furth called to put both players at risk.

The rest of the board ran out 210. No low was possible and Furth was good at showdown with aces up and a queen kicker after Bronshtein's flopped two pair had been counterfeited two eliminate both players, drag in another colossal pot and extend his lead over the rest of the field in one of the final hands of the night.
