Event #32: $1,500 Seven Card Stud
Giorno 2 completo
After a lengthy 12 hours of play on Day 2 of Event #32: $1,500 Seven Card Stud at the 2024 World Series of Poker at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas, just 9 players remain from the 107 who took their seat at the start of the day. Leading the pack is Michael Noori, who managed to amass 2,310,000. He will be looking to add a second bracelet to his collection once play resumes on Day 3. The United Kingdom's Adam Owen sits in second with 2,190,000 while fellow countryman Richard Ashby rounds out the top three on 1,750,000.
Other players still in contention for the $113,725 first-place prize and WSOP gold bracelet include $25k Fantasy Draft pick Hal Rotholz (510,000) and bracelet winner Chris Tryba (320,000). Brandon Shack-Harris sat near the bottom of the counts for much of the latter stages of the day but did manage to find a critical triple up on the last hand of the night to give him a much-needed boost before Day 3.

Only 61 of the players who took their seats on Day 2 managed to make their way into the money, securing a $3,037 minimum cash in the process. Adam Friedman (61st - $3,037) just scraped in after a rapid pace of play on the bubble that saw the hand-for-hand portion of the tournament almost entirely skipped.
Notable players who cashed but did not manage to find a bag at the end of the day include four-time stud bracelet winner Artie Cobb (49th - $3,037), the all-time leading WSOP circuit ring winner Ari Engel (35th - $3,189) and two-time bracelet winner David Prociak (10th - $6,347).
The remaining players will return to play out the final table on Thursday, June 13, at 1 p.m. local time. Limits resume in Level 26 at 50,000-100,000 and levels will continue to be 60 minutes in length for the remainder of the tournament.
Play at the final table will continue until a winner is crowned, so be sure to stay tuned to PokerNews as its live reporting team wraps up coverage of Event #32: $1,500 Seven Card Stud.

Hal Rotholz: A♣2♥/A♦Q♠A♥10♠/4♦
Aaron Kupin: 9♣6♣/J♣7♣9♦3♠/7♠
Hal Rotholz bet on fourth street, he was two-bet by Aaron Kupin and Rotholz called.
On fifth street Rotholz bet again and was called again. On sixth he was all in with his bet which was called. Rotholz held trip aces, while Kupin had four clubs and would need the river to be a club to eliminate Rotholz.
Kupin peeled a black card but it was just a spade 7♠ and Rotholz would scoop the critical pot.

Aaron Kupin: J♠J♣J♥/5♣4♠7♣9♥
Adam Owen: XxXx/5♦ folded on third street
Adam Owen opened before Aaron Kupin three-bet. David Prociak then four-bet, leaving himself just 10,000 behind. Owen got out of the way to send the action back to Kupin, who five-bet. Prociak tossed in his last couple of chips to put himself at risk.
Kupin made trip jacks, a tough hand to beat and one that Prociak was unable to overcome, ending his deep run just shy of the unofficial final table in 10th place.
