From under the gun, Shawn Buchanan raised to 6,500. Dan Fleyshman three-bet from the next seat in the cutoff and made it 20,000. Action folded back to Buchanan and he thought for a bit before announcing that he was all in. Buchanan was all in for over 200,000 and had Fleyshman's 185,000 remaining chips covered. Fleyshman tanked long and hard, but eventually folded and Buchanan won the pot.
With just about 45,000 chips left in front of him, Joseph Elpayaa looked down at 
and made the open-shove from middle position. In the small blind, Shawn Buchanan asked for the count, then made the call with his 
poised for the knockout.
Elpayaa found a pair on the flop, but it wasn't enough as the 
board has sent him on his way in 22nd place.

Bryn Kenney began the day with just 10,000 chips -- a third of his starting stack -- and he's now in the hunt for the chip lead.
Michael Mizrachi led the betting on a 
flop, but he slowed down on the 
turn. Kenney took his cue to bet 12,400 at the pot, and Mizrachi didn't waste much time calling. The filled out the board, and Kenney kept the heat on with another bet worth 22,800. Mizrachi thought it over for a good while, but he eventually dropped the call into the pot.
Kenney's was a medium-strength hand, but it was good enough to take down the pot. Mizrachi flashed one card (possibly an eight of his own), then mucked his cards to drop to about 130,000.
