Un’altra domenica è in archivio e un buon numero di ricchi tornei sono stati giocati su PokerStars. Il numero di partecipanti al PokerStars Sunday Million è tornato a crescere e tre giocatori hanno vinto premi a sei cifre. Il PokerStars Sunday Warm-Up ha ugualmente fatto registrare un incremento generando un primo premio da quasi $100,000 anche se poi il vincitore si è dovuto accontentare di $99,000.

PokerStars Sunday Million ($1M Guaranteed)

Dato l’incremento di presenze rispetto alla scorsa settimana, il Sunday Million ha assegnato ben tre premi a sei cifre dopo undici ore di battaglia al tavolo verde. "Aricontre" avrebbe potuto portarsi a casa il premio più ricco dopo che un deal a cinque è stato concluso ma "kevseteele," che aveva iniziato il tavolo finale come uno dei giocatori più short ha rimontato e poi vinto il titolo. Ha così guadagnato $20,000 più di quanto si era visto garantire dall’accordo. Nell’ultima mano della notte, "manuelmendes" si era trovato in una posizione dominante cpn una coppia di kings contro "kevsteele" che aveva due nove. Qualche volta però non è semplicemente la tua serata ed infatti il board ha dato 10♦5♠2♠9♠5♣.

There may have been $500,000 guaranteed for the PokerStars Sunday Warm-Up, but with 3,175 Iscritti, the Montepremi shot up to $635,000. First Posizione was guaranteed just short of $100,000. Team PokerStars Pro Jan Heitmann played his way to the final table and finished fourth after holding the chip lead for a bit at the final table. In his final hand, Heitmann min-raised from the cutoff and called a 7.8-million-chip shove from "detee" in the big blind. Heitman showed tens and was ahead of his opponent's ace-ten. The board rolled out 2♠3♠4♠Q♠5♠ giving "detee" a straight on the river, eliminating Heitmann. Heads-up play was between "detee" and "jc_bluej." After two big pots and about half an hour, "jc_bluej" was staring at all the chips in his corner, taking the title, and $99,695 first-Posizione Premio money.
