We just walked by Mike McDonald to see him hovering around 350,000 still, but we were just in time for the fireworks.
Petr Jaros opened the pot with a raise to 18,000, and McDonald three-bet to 46,000 from the big blind. Jaros made the call, and off they went. The dealer spread out 
, and McDonald continued out with another 56,000. Jaros called again, and the 
landed on fourth street. McDonald grabbed betting chips again and made it 88,000 to go, but this time Jaros raised all in with his big stack. McDonald had 212,000 chips left behind, and he pondered for only a few seconds before making the call.

McDonald's rockets were well ahead, but he needed to fade the nine hearts in the deck to notch the big double.

With a mix of relief and joy, McDonald raked in the big pot to move all the way up to about 810,000.
