PokerStars Announces Full Five Stop 2024 EPT Schedule; Paris and Cyprus Return

Livello 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

PokerStars has unveiled the full schedule for the 2024 European Poker Tour (EPT) season, which shows five destinations, including a return to EPT Paris and EPT Cyprus. Both Paris and Cyprus made their EPT debut in 2023, and they return for 2024, much to the delight of the players.

EPT Paris is the first stop of the 2024 European Poker Tour season. It takes place between February 14-25 at a new venue. The stunning Le Palais des Congres has a 120-table capacity, meaning there will be a more extensive schedule for the festival. Cedric Billot, Associate Director for Live Events and Operations, believes the new-look EPT Paris could be one of the largest EPT festivals on record.

Tjauw Foe Doubles Up

Livello 13 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Clyde Tjauw Foe shoved all in from the cutoff after it folded around to him. Woody Christy, who covered the Dutchman, called in the small blind.

Clyde Tjauw Foe: A5
Woody Christy: KJ

The 628 flop helped neither player, but Tjauw Foe's ace high remained ahead.

A 10 on the turn left Christy needing a king or jack on the final street to win the pot.

Neither came as the 9 completed the board. Tjauw Foe got a much needed double, while Christy saw his stack diminish just before the level change.

Milhomens Leaves Ilyukhin in Trouble

Livello 13 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Victor Ilyukhin opened to 4,000 on the button and got called by Rui Milhomens in the big blind.

As the flop came K810, the Portuguese bet out 6,000 and got called.

Millhomens bet again on the turn as the Q landed, this time making it 6,500 with Ilyukhin having just 11,500 behind. The Englishman opted to call and it went to a river.

Both checked it down as the 3 hit. Ilyukhin tabled 109, but it was Milhomens who took the pot with K9 - leaving his opponent desperately short.

Krol and Shimizu Split

Livello 11 : Blinds 600/1,500, 1,500 ante

On a flop of 2KK with 12,500 in the pot, Pawel Krol under the gun and Nozomu Shimizu to his left raised each other and went all in, with Krol having the shortest stack.

Pawel Krol: K8
Nozomu Shimizu: K4

Krol was happy to see that he had the best hand. But his smile disappeared when the 2 landed on the turn, as it gave a full house to both players and made them split the pot after the river 7.
