Huge Flip Eliminates Montone

After David Tous had three-bet an earlier open to 125,000 on the button, Diego Montone made it 400,000 to go from the small blind.

The action folded back to Tous, who five-bet jammed for 1,025,000, barely covering his opponent. Montone thought about it for a little while but eventually tossed in a call for his tournament life.

Montone stood up as the A♦5♣3♠ flop fell, and he was right to do so as the 7♦6♠ saw Tous' flopped top pair hold up for the win.

Tous raked in a big pot while Montone headed to the exit to collect his payout.

Hjulstroem Flushes Out Perez

Delfoco Ends Rodin's Run at Back-to-Back Final Tables

Grigorii Rodin raised to 150,000 under the gun, leaving his last 75,000 behind, as Francesco Delfoco reraised to 410,000 in the small blind. Johannes Verhagen folded his big blind, while Rodin tossed in his last chips.

Rodin got some hope on the J♣8♥7♦ flop, picking up a pair of jacks, while the 2♥ turn kept Delfoco in the lead. "I wouldn't mind a jack," Rodin said heading to the river, which came the 7♥ and sealed Rodin's bustout in 52nd place after a run to the final table at EPT Prague in December.

Clement Kerrien was also eliminated from this table a few hands earlier as David Tous climbed up to 2,900,000.

Minasi immediately bet 50,0000 on the K♥5♥5♠ flop and was called. He then checked on the 3♠ turn. Danchev kept it small and fired out 55,000 but through his cards back to the dealer after Minasi quickly made it 150,000.

Afriat put another 200,000 chips in the pot and a snap call followed from Delfoco. Afriat turned over Q♦10♦ for a rivered straight, while Delfoco wistfully showed his 6♦5♦ for a turned straight which got bested on the river.
