Action folded to Kartik Ved who jammed to put the shorter-stacked players left to act to a decision for all their chips. Mikita Badziakouski was the only player to call off, putting himself at risk and sending both players to a runout.
Mikita Badziakouski: AxJx
Kartik Ved: A♦Q♣
The board ran out 5♣4♥Q♠5♦7♦, securing the pot for Ved and sending Badziakouski to the rail in 18th place for $21,700.
Mikita Badziakouski was all in for 2,250,000 in middle position, Sergi Reixach was all in for about 4,800,000 in early position, and both players were at risk against Kartik Ved in the small blind.
Action folded to Stefan Nemetz who raised to 500,000 from middle postion before facing a three-bet to 1,250,000 from Maria Ho on the button. With action back on Nemetz, he paused briefly before jamming only to see Ho make the snap-call to send both players to a runout with Nemetz at risk.
Stefan Nemetz: 10♦10♠
Maria Ho: A♠K♦
The 5♣4♣A♦ flop catapulted Ho into the lead and left Nemetz looking for help with two cards to come, but when the turn and river came the 4♦ and 5♠, Nemetz was left with the second best hand as Ho sends another player to the payout desk before adding another huge pot to her growing stack.
Davidi Kitai shoved the small blind and Phil Hellmuth called all in for about 1,100,000 in the big blind.
Phil Hellmuth: A♣6♦
Davidi Kitai: Q♦3♥
The 10♦9♠7♠ flop kept Hellmuth ahead to the 9♣ turn, but the Q♣ spiked the river to give Kitai the best hand, while Hellmuth's quest for an 18th bracelet will have to wait another day.
