After being crippled, we found Alex Wice all in on a flop. Fortunately he paired up with and was looking good against his opponent’s . The turn and river bricked out and Wice doubled up.
The very next hand, the player under the gun raised and Wice three-bet as the next to act. The player made the call as they saw the devilish flop and UTG checked. He called Wice’s bet and checked again when the hit the turn. This time however, he folded to another bet and Wice had chipped up to 3,200.

The player in Seat Five continued to put pressure on Laak and fired off another bet after the rolled off on the turn. Laak again made the call.

We missed all of the preflop action but several bets went in between the player in the cutoff and Shannon Shorr on the button. Both the flop and on the turn went check-bet-call. On the river however, the cutoff led out this time and Shorr made the call. The player showed for the nut flush on the river. We’re unsure of what Shorr had as he mucked but it appeared as though he got rivered.
With about 3,500 in the pot and a board reading , a player in middle position checked and Shannon Shorr bet from the cutoff. Daniel Negreanu, who was on the button, then put in a raise, which forced the middle-position player out. Shorr made the call and both players checked the river.
Shorr showed for a flopped set, which was bigger than the flopped set of Negreanu. "Wow, I saved some money," Negreanu said with faux enthusiasm. "That's like the only card I'm not going to bet."
Hoyt Corkins raised under the gun and action folded all the way around to Victor Ramdin in the big blind. Ramdin made the call and then check-called bets on the flop and turn. When the peeled off on the river, Ramdin led out and it was Corkins making the call.
Ramdin showed for a rivered two pair, which was needed to beat the of Corkins.
Right after the break, we found Randy Lew all in preflop holding . However he was dominated by his opponents . The board ran out and gave no help to Lew who was eliminated.
