Kenny Nguyen opened in the cutoff for 4,600 and Michael Compolongo shoved from the button for just under 20,000. Nguyen counted out the call and debated to himself whether he should call or not. He said, "You've got me beat but I'm gonna call." He made the call and tabled {Q-Clubs} {9-Spades}.

Compolongo turned up {A-Spades} {A-Diamonds} and watched the board run {4-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds} {3-Diamonds}. With five diamonds on the board both players had a flush, but Compolongo had the nut flush holding the {A-Diamonds}. Nguyen is still over 100,000 and Compolongo has 50,000

"The Shark" Hunts Down Nguyen's Chips

With Humberto Brenes no longer in today's event, we've found a new shark in the form of Ismail "The Shark" Abousharkh, who's now up to more than 120,000 in chips after doubling through Kenny Nguyen.

On a flop of {7-Hearts}{5-Spades}{3-Diamonds}, Abousharkh checked to Nguyen who led out for 7,000 into a pot worth about 10,000. Abousharkh then check-raised, making it another 20,000 to go and Nguyen called before the dealer produced the turn of the {A-Spades}.

Abousharkh open-shoved for 32,000 and Nguyen snap-called.

Nguyen: {J-Spades}{J-Hearts}
Abousharkh: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}

Abousharkh was down to just two outs, but he couldn't contain himself when the {10-Spades} spiked on the river to give him the set and the double-up!

Nguyen laughed, but he's probably still hurting a bit inside, now that he's down to less than 60,000 in chips.
