Small Ballin' Across the USA ...

Livello 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

There hasn't been much action to speak of as we approach the break, save a couple of all-ins from Jordan Young, but he found no takers.

So why not take a few minutes to check out The Nightly Turbo? There's some particularly interesting stories in today's edition, including another huge step for the legalization of online gaming right here in the state of Nevada!

Koss Stays Alive!

We hadn't heard too much from Robert Koss, but he's still here after a huge double-up through Tristan Wade.

The action folded to Koss who open-shoved for 715,000 from middle position with {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}, but he cringed when he saw Wade snap-call from the big blind with {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs}. That pain turned to shock and elation after he struck gold on the flop of {5-Spades}{6-Spades}{7-Clubs} and the repeat {5-Clubs} on the turn gave him the full house.

Down to just two outs, Wade only shrugged and then started to cut out the stacks when the {3-Clubs} bricked out on the river.

Vert Earns Some Back

Livello 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Phillipe Vert, still affected from the his fold in the prior hand, opened to 80,000 from early position. Tristan Wade made it 235,000 to go from the button. Vert moved all in and Wade called.

Showdown:
Wade: {A-Spades} {K-Hearts}
Vert: {A-Hearts} {A-Clubs}

The board ran {2-Hearts} {2-Diamonds} {J-Clubs} {4-Clubs} {6-Clubs} and Vert doubled up to 455,000.

Vert Surrenders to Le

The action folded around to Philippe Vert who raised to 95,000 from the cutoff; Allan Le called from the big blind and then check-called Vert's bet of 155,000 after the flop of {8-Hearts}{9-Spades}{J-Diamonds} before both players checked the turn of the {Q-Diamonds}.

Le then led out for 95,000 on the river of the {9-Hearts}; Vert called, but mucked after Le tabled {K-Spades}{K-Clubs} for the overpair. With that pot, Le now moves out further in front with more than three million in chips.

Vert Doubles Through Hays

Livello 25 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Philippe Vert, the only international player at this official final table, has just managed to double through Foster Hays to move up to more than 1.4 million in chips.

The action folded around to Hays who raised to 75,000 from middle position before the flop before Vert reraised all-in from the big blind for another 540,000. Hays thought about it long and hard, but eventually made the call, showing down {6-Spades}{6-Hearts} against Vert's {Q-Spades}{J-Spades}.

However, the crowd gasped after the dealer spread a very pretty flop of {8-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}, before completing the board with the turn of the {7-Spades} and the river {9-Spades} to give Vert the flush.

Hays is now down to just under two million in chips.

Lavelle Ramps Up the Action

Livello 25 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

There's already been a couple of flops seen at this final table, with the remaining nine players not keen to slow down anytime soon and keep up the trend of the last two days.

In one of the first hands of the final table, the action folded around to Jeffrey Lavelle who completed the small blind before Jordan Young checked to go heads-up to the flop of {2-Clubs}{6-Spades}{7-Spades}. Lavelle then fired 40,000 and Young threw his hand into the muck.

A short time later, Casey Kelton raised from middle position to 80,000 and the action folded around to Lavelle who called from the button before calling Kelton's opening bet of 115,000 on the flop of {10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}, only to fold after Kelton shoved on the turn of the {K-Diamonds}.
