Top Pair, Top Kicker for Radoja

Livello 29 : 100,000/200,000, 30,000 ante

After moving all in for 5,600,000 the previous hand, Jeffrey Gross smooth-called a 400,000-chip raise from the big blind to see a {4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} flop fall.

Both players checked, and when the {J-Spades} landed on the turn, he check-called Radoja's 400,000-chip bet.

The river landed the {10-Hearts} and Radoja slid out a 1,200,000-chip bet which was instantly called by Gross.

Radoja tabled his {A-Clubs}{J-Hearts}, and when Gross flashed his {J-Diamonds} and mucked, he slipped to below 4,000,000 in chips.

Gross Doubles Up

Jeffrey Gross
Jeffrey Gross

Jeff Gross moved all in preflop from the button and was called by Mark Radoja.

Gross: {Q-Spades}{8-Diamonds}
Radoja: {A-Spades}{4-Hearts}

The flop fell {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{J-Diamonds} and Radoja was still in the lead. When the {6-Diamonds} turned, Gross picked up diamonds as outs as well as pairing either card. The river was kind to Gross, as the {8-Hearts} fell, pairing him up and also doubling him up.

Cheering Intensifies

Livello 29 : 100,000/200,000, 30,000 ante

As Mark Radoja's section keeps singing "Mark Radoja!" to the tune of "My Sharona", someone from Gross' cheering section yelled "How do you even know the words to that song?"

Ever so poignantly, a member of Radoja's cheering section replied "Only two words matter! Mark. Radoja".

Patterns Emerging

Livello 29 : 100,000/200,000, 30,000 ante

For the past four hands a pattern has seemed to emerge. From the button, Radoja raised to 400,000 and Gross moved all in. Radoja folded and Gross scooped the pot.

Gross then has the button and folds, giving Radoja a walk.

Lather, rinse, repeat.
