Welcome to PokerNews' Day 3 coverage of Event #25, the $1,500 Seven Card Stud Hi-Low-8 or Better. A field of 606 is left with just 23 hopefuls looking to capture a coveted WSOP gold bracelet. Leading the way into Day 3 is Cory Zeidman with 217,500, but a skilled bunch will be looking to leave their mark. Among them is ESPN WSOP color commentator Norman Chad, fourth in chips with 179,000.
Also returning on Day 3 is Tyson "POTTERPOKER" Marks, 2010 WSOP Player of the Year Frank Kassela, Cyndy Violette, Mike Sexson, Karina Jett, and Kristy Gazes.

She didn't show her down cards, but Karina Jett was all in before sixth street against Hernan Salazar and Chris Viox. Salazar tabled (in no particular order) for a 7-6 low, while Viox showed for trips 8's. Jett could beat neither and is the first one eliminated on Day 3.

Gerasimov completed and was called by Rechnitzer and Pappas. Pappas bet out on fourth and was called by the other two before fifth street was checked around. It was checked to Rechnitzer on sixth and he bet, Pappas called and Gerasimov folded. Rechnitzer bet seventh as well and Pappas called but couldn't beat his opponent's for a straight and an eight-low.
Kristy Gazes completed with the and last year's champion David Warga raised, Gazes reraised and Warga set her all in for the remaining chips.

On seventh street, Tyson Marks check-raised Frank Kassela's scary looking board and got called. Marks flipped for a wheel and Kassela mucked for kings and sixes.
Ming Reslock was all in on third street against Filippos Stavrakis.

Despite having trips on fourth street, Reslock fell when Stavrakis pulled a full house on seventh street to score the elimination and up his stack to about 120,000.
Tyson Marks is up to about 230,000 after finishing off Frank Kassela. The 2010 WSOP Player of the Year was all in on third street.
