Ruberto, Moorman Lead In Chips Going Into Day 3

Out of the1,378 players who started Day 1, and the 189 players who came back for Day 2, only 22 remain. Our chipleader heading into day 3 is Anthony Ruberto who finished the day with 1,550,000, but the story of the tournament so far has to be Chris Moorman who is second in chips with 1,210,000 to start today. Moorman is an absolute legend of online poker tournaments who has had minimal WSOP success, and in an event like six handed No-Limit Hold'em (which favors the aggressive player), a relentlessly aggressive player like Moorman has a huge advantage going into our final day of play.

All of the remaining players are guaranteed to take home at least $20,377, but all eyes are on the $689,739 and gold bracelet that will go to our eventual champion. There were many notable players who hit the rail yesterday including Jean-Robert Bellande, who started the day 2nd in chips, Jake Cody, Tuan Le, Jimmy Tran, Olivier Busquet, and Mohsin Charnia, but plenty notables remain. Players like Moorman, Will "The Thrill" Failla (cashed seven times at last year's WSOP), Rupert Elder (2011 EPT San Remo Champion), Dan O'Brien (tournament circuit regular with a third place finish in a 2008 WSOP No-Limit Hold'em event) are all big name players and all searching for their first WSOP bracelet. These will be the players to watch as we get closer and closer to the final table and the bracelet.

We are about to get underway here in the next few minutes in the blue section of the Amazon Room. Stay tuned to PokerNews for up-to-the-minute live updates in the event.
