Finding It On Fourth Street

Livello 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

From under the gun, a player made it 3,500 to go only to have Ty Reiman make it 9,900 from the button. Reiman's opponent called, leaving him with only 10,800 behind. The flop fell {9-Clubs}{6-Spades}{J-Hearts} and his opponent checked. Reiman bet him all and and he made the call.

Reiman: {A-Spades}{K-Spades}
Opponent: {A-Clubs}{7-Clubs}

Unfortunately for Reiman, his opponent got there on the turn when the {7-Hearts} fell. The river came {3-Hearts} and Reiman doubled his opponent up, knocking him down to about 130,000 in chips.

Romine's Riches

Yesterday Rick Romine was explosive, unpredictable, and frankly just dominated his table no matter who came and sit down. Today Romine has been under the radar losing small pots here and there, and players were catching up with chips, he was no longer the giant force he was yesterday. However while we were walking around we witnessed this hand, and got a glimpse of the Romine fom yesterday.

On a {5-Hearts}{J-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}, the player under the gun fired a 12,000 bet into Romine. Romine wasted no time and announced all in. His opponent quickly called, and Romine flipped over {J-Hearts}{j-Clubs} for a full house jacks over fives. His opponent flashed Romine the {5-Diamonds} for a set of threes.

Feldman's Three-Bet

From early position, a player at Peter Feldman's table raised to 3,500. There were two callers before the action came upon Feldman, who dropped the hammer by three-betting to 14,000. Every player folded and Feldman was able to increase his stack by a good amount without even seeing a flop.

Kabrhel Knocks Out Three

Martin Kabrhel
Martin Kabrhel

We had just gotten back from break when we noticed a growing hand at Martin Kabrhel's table. A short stack in early position moved all in for around 5,000 in chips, another player in middle position raised it to about 12,000, the player on the button then went all in. When the action finally got to Kabrhel, he moved all in easily covering all the players in the hand, both other players called and cards were turned.

Kabrhel: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Early Position: {A-}{9-}
Middle Position: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}
Button: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}

Kabrhel had three players all in and was ahead, both players with pocket queens essentially canceled each other out unless they could somehow manage a flush or straight to appear on the board and it didn't really matter if an ace hit the flop because the player with {A-}{9-} was super short and fairly irrelevant. Kabrhel was in a dream spot and set to create a mountain range of chips that would go up to his chin and across 1/5 the table.

As everyone stood in wild excitement and anticipation the dealer burned and put three cards out on the board. {5-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} all made an appearance essentially shutting the door on both players with queens. However the short stack was able to grab a pair of nines and some outs that could potentially quadruple him up.

A {8-Spades} on the turn brought the possibility of a devastatingly rewarding chop pot to all the players, but a chop pot was the last thing Kabrhel was looking for as he planned on scooping the whole pot.

A river {2-Hearts} sealed it and Martin Kabhrel has moved into a dominating chip lead of the whole tournament with over 100,000 more chips than second place's chips.

Humphrey Hitting Flops

After a player in middle position made a raise Zachary Humphrey reraised and made it 7,800 to see a flop. The player in middle position then moved all in for around 30,400 in chips. Humphrey then went into tank mode and spent a good while thinking about what he should do. Eventually he made the call.

To Humphrey's horror his opponent had {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}, Humphrey had a measly pair of tens {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}. After all the chips were in the middle the dealer spread out five cards on the felt and they came out {10-}{8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{6-}{7-Clubs}. Humphrey hit a 10 in the door for trips and was able to knock out his unlucky opponent.

Romine Regressing

After raising preflop to around 3,500 Romine received one caller, the big blind. On a {9-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} board Romine bet out 5,000. He was quickly reraised as the big blind moved all in for 25,000 more. Romine thought about it for awhile even grabbing the right amount of chips putting them back and doing it again. He looked like he really wanted to make the call, but in the end his cards made their way into the muck.

Kabrhel is Killing It

Livello 12 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

A player opened the action for 2,500 preflop only to find Martin Kabrhel make it 4,900 to go from the cutoff. Action folded back around and Kabrhel made the call.

The flop came {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades}{7-Diamonds} and Kabrhel's opponent moved his stack all in for 13,500 more. Kabrhel quickly made the call, flipping up {A-Hearts}{6-Hearts}, which was far ahead of his opponent's {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}. The turn came {6-Diamonds}, filling up Kabrhel, and the {3-Hearts} on the river blanked for his opponent.

Kabrhel was able to scoop yet another pot, bringing his castle of chips up to around 185,000.
