Day 2 of the $3,000 Pot Limit Omaha even came to close with Sam Stein as your chipleader with 843,000. The day began with 138 returning players and it has been whittled down to 25 runners. Christian Harder and Ben Lamb join Stein atop the leaderboard with their eyes on the final table.
We have two returning bracelet winners in the field; Tex Barch, who won the $1,500 Pot Limit Omaha event in 2010 and Brock Parker, who won back to back bracelets in 2009. Joining them on the felt for Day 3 are Adam Junglen, Tommy Le and Warren Fund.
The field was full of notables that didn't survive the day. They included Jeffrey Lisandro, John Juanda, Eli Elezra, Tony Cousineau, Joe Hachem, Paul Volpe, Bryn Kenney, Dan Heimiller, Robert Williamson, John Racener, Pat Pezzin and Erick Lindgren.
Day 3 will begin at 4 p.m. PST and we have high hopes to play crown a winner by the end of the day. Be sure to follow all the WSOP action at Pokernews.com
