Happy Doubles

Jeff Shulman was under the gun and opened for 850 and action folded around to the player in the small blind, who raised to 2,500. Shulman shoved for a total 4,575 and the small blind called.

Shulman, {K-Hearts} {K-Clubs}
Small Blind: {8-Hearts} {8-Clubs}

The board ran {K-Diamonds} {J-Spades} {6-Spades} {7-Clubs} {5-Clubs} and Shulman's set of kings brought him up to 9,300.

No Stealing From Sabat

Livello 5 : 100/200, 25 ante

Eddy Sabat opened to 450 from middle position, and he found action in one spot. The button three-bet him to 1,250, and Sabat called to see a {7-Spades} {4-Clubs} {5-Diamonds} flop. Sabat check-called 1,050 there, and he check-called another 2,250 on the turn. The river brought the {J-Spades}, and Sabat checked one last time. His opponent moved all in with his covering stack, putting the decision on Sabat for all the chips. Sabat eventually called, and his opponent did not want to show.

Sabat tabled {A-Hearts} {7-Hearts} for second pair, and the words, "Good call," were music to his ears. He'll take the pot, and with it comes a double to about 37,000.

Magriel Asks For a Count, then Quacked

Livello 5 : 100/200, 25 ante

A player from middle position opened for a raise and Paul Magriel was seated behind him. Magriel asked the raiser how much he had behind, which was roughly in the 15,000 - 20,000 range and clearly had Magriel covered twice over. Magriel moved all in for 6,700 and the raiser called.

Magriel: {K-Hearts} {J-Hearts}
Raiser: {A-Diamonds} {K-Spades}

The board ran {9-Diamonds} {3-Hearts} {4-Clubs} {2-Diamonds} {3-Diamonds} and Magriel's day was done.

Now Lee-ving the Room

Livello 5 : 100/200, 25 ante
Bernard Lee - out
Bernard Lee - out

Just before the break, we bid farewell to Bernard Lee.

Lee was all in for 4,100 before the flop with {9-Spades} {9-Diamonds}, and he was up against two opponents. The first had a racing {a-Clubs} {q-Spades}, but the third player in the pot had {k-Clubs} {k-Spades} and a hammer lock on the pot. The board ran out {8-Spades} {q-Hearts} {3-Clubs} {5-Diamonds} {10-Clubs}, though, and the player with ace-queen gets the pot. With it come the elimination of Bernard Lee, too.
