LeFort Dents Ross

Sean LeFort opened his cutoff to 160,000 and Thomas Ross made the call from the big blind as the dealer dropped a {6-Spades}{5-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop.

Ross checked, and LeFort continued for 175,000 which was enough to force a fold from Ross.

... and Peas?

Livello 30 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

"Mash potato!"

That was Jason Mercier announcing his arrival on the rail to sweat Allen Bari alongside Dan O'Brien.

Also on the rail, but currently occupied playing a three-handed game on an iPad is Vanessa Selbst, Jeff Madsen and Matthew Waxman.

Ricky Fohrenbach Eliminated in 6th Place ($142,821)

Ricky Fohrenbach - 6th Place
Ricky Fohrenbach - 6th Place

Ricky Fohrenbach entered the pot from the cutoff to 120,000 only to have Allen Bari announce, "I raise... to 4 million!"

Once the blinds passed and the action returned to Fohrenbach, he deliberated for nearly ninety seconds before making the call for his 1,720,000-chip stack.

Fohrenbach: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Bari: {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs}

With Fohrenbach holding the lead in the race for his tournament life, the {J-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{8-Hearts} flop switched Bari into the lead but still left Fohrenbach needing any queen, ten or seven to snatch it back.

The {3-Spades} on the turn did little to change the hand, and when the {2-Diamonds} completed the board, Fohrenbach was forced to hit the rail in 6th place collecting $142,821 in prizemoney as Bari moves to roughly 8,000,000 in chips - virtually three quarters of the chips in play!

Blumenthal Booms Double

Livello 29 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

From the cutoff, Nicholas Blumenthal shipped his final 720,000 into the pot and Ricky Fohrenbach iso-shoved the button.

Blumenthal: {K-Spades}{K-Hearts}
Fohrenbach: {J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}

With Blumenthal in the lead, the {10-Clubs}{8-Spades}{7-Diamonds} flop gave Fohrenbach an additional four outs to a gutshot.

The {4-Clubs} on the turn changed little, and when the {6-Diamonds} landed on the river, Blumenthal was pushed the double to roughly 1,800,000 as Fohrenbach slipped to roughly 1,700,000 in chips.

LeFort LeDoubles

Livello 29 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Sean LeFort pushed all in from middle position for roughly 800,000 and Nicholas Blumenthal iso-shoved next to act.

LeFort: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}
Blumenthal: {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}

With LeFort in the lead, but in a race for his tournament survival, the {9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} board would ensure the chips shipped his way as he moved to over 1,700,000 while Blumenthal slipped to 900,000 in chips.

Fohrenbach Clips Blumenthal

Livello 29 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Catching the action on the {K-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{9-Spades} flop we found Nicholas Blumenthal and Ricky Fohrenbach exchanging a bet and a call to see the {2-Spades} fall on the turn.

As Fohrenbach continued his trademark stare-down on Blumenthal, he fired out 75,000 when the river landed the {6-Clubs}.

Blumenthal made the call, but would muck at the sight of Fohrenbach's {A-Hearts}{9-Hearts}.
