Ramdin Watch

Livello 1 : 400/800, 0 ante

He's still not here.... but All-American Dave did just deliver food to his empty chair. C'mon Victor, your food is getting cold and stack is getting shorter!

Weak Ace Leads Eberle Down Losing Road

Livello 1 : 400/800, 0 ante

Todd Witteles, David Speicher and Dale Eberle each put three bets in preflop to see {A-Diamonds} {7-Clubs} {3-Spades} roll out. Witteles led out, Speicher called, Eberle raised and got two calls. The turn came {5-Diamonds}, Witteles and Speicher checked, Eberle bet, Witteles folded and Speicher called. The river came {5-Clubs} and Speicher and Eberle checked.

Eberle tabled {A-Clubs} {4-Spades} and Speicher won the pot with {A-Hearts} {J-Hearts}.

Where's Victor?

Livello 1 : 400/800, 0 ante

15 minutes into Level 1 and all but two players have sat down at their tables to start Day 2.

Those players are Iakov Nepomnyashchiy and Team PokerStars Pro (USA) Victor Ramdin. We'll let you know when our "fashionably late" players arrive, and since they haven't started with super deep stacks, for their sakes we hope that it's soon

Lubarsky Wins One Early

Livello 1 : 400/800, 0 ante

We found Hal Lubarsky putting out a bet preflop, only to be raised by the player immediately on his left. Lubarsky made the call and both players saw {2-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} on the flop. Lubarsky checked and his opponent, Steven Hustoft bet out. Lubarsky called, and both players got to see a turn.

With the {8-Clubs} on fourth street Lubarsky again check-called a bet from Hustoft. After the {8-Spades} spiked on the river we saw a repeat of action with Lubarsky check-calling another bet. Cards were then shown, and it was Lubarsky's {A-}{10-} pair of tens that was awarded the pot after Hustoft was only able to manage {A-}{K-} for ace high.

Five Bet Aggro Chop

Livello 1 : 400/800, 0 ante

Ivo Donev and Alexander Dovzhenko just played a hand where they five bet capped every street but the river. The board read {9-Hearts} {6-Spades} {7-Clubs} {2-Diamonds} {10-Clubs} and when it was all said and done Donev tabled the two red aces and Dovzhenko tabled the two black ones.

They chopped the pot, shook hands and complimented each other on how well they played their hands.

60 Come Back For Day 2 Of Event #41: $1,500 Limit Hold’em Shootout

We started Day 1 of Event #41 $1,500 Limit Hold’em Shootout with 538 players and now we are down to our final 60. All of the remaining players are guaranteed $4,118 whether they win their table or not, but all have their eyes on two more table wins worth $167,060 and a brand new gold bracelet.

Yesterday we had quite a stacked starting field, and some of those who didn't make it through were Tom Dwan, Eric Baldwin, J.C. Tran, David Benyamine, Todd Brunson, Greg Mueller, Jean-Robert Bellande, Chau Giang, Sorel Mizzi, Jason Mercier, Jason Somerville, Lex Veldhuis, Humberto Brenes, Jonathan Little, and Barry Greenstein.

But, there are plenty of big names left playing on one of our 10 six-handed tables today. Of those include Team PokerStars Pro (Netherlands) Noah Boeken, Hoyt Corkins, Ari Engel, Jacobo Fernandez, and Sergey Rybachenko. Also included are Team PokerStars Pros Eugene Katchalov (Ukraine) and Victor Ramdin (USA) who both came back from 20-1 chip defects in heads-up play at their first tables to win and make it here to Day 2.
