Earlier we reported that Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier had his quads beat by an opponent's straight flush. Well we just saw ElkY grab his backpack and hurry away from his table, and saw the dealer pushing his chips towards the same opponent. He has been eliminated.
A player in middle position raised to 425 and found two callers - one from the button and one from Vanessa Selbst in the big.
The flop came and Selbst checked, prompting a 1,150 c-bet from the preflop raiser. The button folded but Selbst made the call. The turn came the and Selbst checked again. Her opponent bet the pot with only had a few hundred behind. Selbt tanked for a bit, but eventually raised enough to put her opponent all in. He chucked in his last few chips for the call.

The river did not help Selbst and she fell to 19,200 in chips.
When we got to Erick Lindgren's table, him and another player were taking a heads up flop of . With about 7,000 in the pot, Lindgren fired out a bet of 2,100. His opponent called, and the turn came the , and Lindgren nearly went all-in, shoving 9150 of his 9300 stack in the pot. The opponent tanked for about a minute before another player called the clock. As soon as the clock was called, Lindgren's opponent folded his hand, and Lindgren boosted his stack to around 34,000, including one of his add-on chips.
A player in the hi-jack opened for 500 and Men "The Master" Nguyen flatted from the button. The small folded but the big blind player three-bet to 2,100. The original raiser folded but Nguyen threw in a call.

We didn't catch the action, but we walked by Eli Elezra's table and saw a rather large pot being shipped his way. The board read , and while Elezra's opponent had in her hand, Elezra had for a better full house. That hand boosted Elezra stack up to 70,000, which is the early lead by our counts.
On a flop reading , Phil Laak check-called a 1,050 bet from his lone opponent. Both players checked when a fell on the turn. A came on the river and Laak led out for 1,650. His opponent decided to show a from his hand and mucked.
We unfortunately missed exactly how the action went down, however, there was a four-way all-in showdown involving Tom Dwan on a board and three players' hands were revealed.
