PokerNews' Hall Hits the Rail

Livello 9 : 400/800, 0 ante

Our own Chris Hall recently stopped by the media desk to give us the unfortunate news that he has been eliminated from the tournament. According to Hall, he held {A-}{A-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{7-} and raised to 2,800 preflop, leaving himself 2,900 behind. He received a call from the player in the big blind, who bet enough to put Hall in on the {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} flop.

Hall called off with his nut-flush draw, but needed to improve against the big blind's {K-}{K-}{8-}{4-}. Unfortunately for Hall, a {Q-} on the turn ended his hopes of a PLO8 title. On a brighter note, Hall's birthday is tomorrow and we have no doubt he'll have himself a good time . . . most likely playing Pai Gow.
