Peter Akery raised from under the gun and Joseph Cheong re-raised from middle position. Akery called and they saw the flop come {a-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}. The river was the {2-Hearts} and both players checked.

Pescatori Run Over By Wheel

Livello 13

Limit Hold'em

Action opened when a player raised from the cutoff and the player on the button called. Max Pescatori three-bet from the big blind and both players called.

The flop came {2-Hearts}{4-Spades}{5-Clubs} and Pescatori fired out a bet. The cutoff folded while his opponent on the button made the call. The {4-Diamonds} came on the turn and Pescatori bet once again. His opponent called and saw the {3-Hearts} come on the river. This time Pescatori check-called a bet from his opponent who said "I've got an ace," turning up {A-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} for a straight. Max Pescatori could only shake his head and muck his cards as the pot was pushed to his opponent. He's now sitting with around 88,000.

"Queens with the Flush"

Jimmy Fricke
Jimmy Fricke

Limit Hold'em

We caught up to a small blinded Jimmy Fricke just as he was being reraised preflop by a player in the big blind. Both players got to see a flop after Fricke called. With {8-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{10-Clubs} all making an appearance on the flop Fricke backed down and opted to check, his opponent however didn't recoil and put out a bet. Fricke called.

With the {3-Spades} on the turn Fricke checked as did the big blind. A {6-Spades} river brought a raise from Fricke, the big blind called. Fricke announced "queens with the flush" and flipped over {q-Spades}{5-Spades} for indeed a flush as well as a pair of queens. Fricke's opponent mucked.

Boeken Gets Rivered

Limit Hold'em

After a raise from a player in late position, Noah Boeken peeked down at his cards from the big blind and then made the call. The flop came down {2-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} and Boeken checked. His opponent continued out and Boeken made the call.

The turn was the {Q-Clubs} and Boeken check-called yet another bet. The river was the {J-Diamonds} and Boeken checked for a third time. He faced yet another bet from his opponent that he eventually called. His opponent tabled {A-Clubs}{J-Spades} for a rivered pair of jacks and Boeken shook his head while laughing.

"You've got me," Boeken said, sliding his cards to the muck and watching as the chips were pushed to his opponent.
