Osborne Likes Her Kings

Livello 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

We walked over to Erica Schoenberg's table to see that she was in the middle of a decent sized pot as they went to the flop. Lisa Ahumada was all in preflop and was called by Schoenberg and Deborah Osborne. The board ran out {7-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{2-Spades}{10-Spades}, and the players checked it down until the river, when Osborne shoved. Schoenberg gave her hand up, and Osborne flipped up a monster, as she had {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds} in her hand for top set. Ahumada mucked, and Osborne scored the knockout, upping her stack to 52,000.

Hecht's Day at an End

From middle position, Gina Hecht moved all-in for 14,200 pre-flop and the action folded to Laura Desantis who re-raised all in from the cutoff. The action folded to Deborah Worley-Roberts in the big blind, who shook her head and grimaced as she looked down at her cards.

"Do I really want to do this three-handed?" she asked herself. After another minute or so, she reluctantly let go of her hand.

Desantis: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}
Hecht: {K-Clubs}{9-Spades}

Despite pairing up on the board of {6-Clubs}{10-Spades}{9-Clubs}{3-Spades}{8-Diamonds}, Desantis' overpair was best and Hecht was sent to the rail. Desantis is now on more than 55,000 in chips.

Sizemore Seizes Petitjean's Chips

Amanda Sizemore opened for 4,300 from under-the-gun and found one caller in Alexandra Petitjean from the cutoff. Everyone else folded.

The flop came {Q-Spades}{J-Spades}{10-Hearts} and Sizemore checked, prompting a 5,700 bet from Petitjean. Sizemore deliberated for a bit and then announced, "I'm all in," for a bit over 30,000. Petitijean quickly called for her remaining chips and saw the bad news.

Petitjean: {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} for an over-pair and an open-ender.
Sizemore: {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} for the flopped straight.

The {3-Spades} turn a {9-Spades} river left Sizemore with a higher straight and Petitjean was eliminated.

Sizmore's stack has grown to 70,000.

Tkacheva Eliminated

Karen Fisher is now up to almost 128,000 in chips after eliminating Elena Tkacheva.

All the money was in the middle before the flop; Tkacheva had got her money in good with {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}, but it wasn't good enough - not by a long shot - because Fisher had woken up with {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}!

The board was spread {2-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} and Fisher's two pair was best to make Tkacheva go bye-bye.

Rouse Coolered Out of Tournament

We caught up with the action just as Marsha Wolak and Tracy Rouse were getting it all in preflop. We are being told the two got into a raising war with Wolak being the first to go all in. Rouse made the call.

Rouse: {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades}
Wolak: {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}

The {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{A-Clubs} board was no help to Rouse and she had no choice but to hit the rail.

Wolak's stack is up to 75,000.
