Hand #5: Matt Giannetti

Livello 36 : 250,000/500,000, 50,000 ante

Phil Collins had the button. In middle position, Matt Giannetti raised to 1.1 million. Collins made the call in position, and it was heads up to the flop.

The dealer spread out {Q-Diamonds} {2-Clubs} {7-Hearts}, and Giannetti checked it over. Collins checked it back, and we had the first turn card of the day, the {8-Spades}. Now Giannetti continued out with 1.35 million, and it drew a surrender from Phildo.

Gianetti, by the way, is the only one of the nine wearing sunglasses today.

Hand #6: Ace High Good for Collins

Livello 36 : 250,000/500,000, 50,000 ante

The button was with Anton Makiievskyi.

Action folded to Phil Collins in the cutoff seat and he limped in for the second time today. Pius Heinz checked in the big blind and the flop came down {10-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}. Both players checked.

The turn was the {K-Spades} and Heinz bet 625,000. Collins made the call to see the river. The {K-Diamonds} landed on the river and Heinz checked. Colins checked behind.

Heinz showed the {Q-Diamonds}{J-Spades}, but lost to Collins' {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} to win the pot.

Hand #10: Martin Staszko

Livello 36 : 250,000/500,000, 50,000 ante

Chip leader Martin Staszko had the button to start this hand.

Staszko raised to 1.1 million when play folded to him. In the big blind, Bob Bounahra made the call and the flop came down {A-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}. Bounahra was first and checked. Staszko also checked.

The {8-Hearts} landed on fourth street and Bounahra checked. Staszko began to reach into his stack. He fired 1.3 million. Bounahra took some time, but eventually folded his hand and Staszko won the pot.

Hand #11: Eoghan O'Dea

Livello 36 : 250,000/500,000, 50,000 ante

Matt Giannetti had the button. Pius Heinz was the first to enter the pot with a raise to 1.1 million, and the action came all the way around to the big blind where Eoghan O'Dea flatted to see a flop.

It came {6-Hearts} {10-Spades} {5-Hearts}, and O'Dea checked to the raiser. Heinz made a continuation bet of 1.225 million, and O'Dea peered down at the felt in front of him. After about 45 seconds, he made the call, and the {5-Spades} landed on fourth street. Both men checked this time, and the river brought the {4-Spades} and a leading bet from O'Dea. He considered for a good long while, then made it 2.6 million to go. Heinz gave it just a cursory look before returning his cards to the muck, and Heinz has been reduced to 12.175 million with that slide.

O'Dea is now nipping at the heals of the chip leader with 37.85 million.
