Fohrenbach Finds Double

On the turn with the board reading {4-Spades}{7-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} we found Kyle Speake pushing out a bet only to have Ricky Fohrenbach moving all in.

Speake made the call holding {A-Clubs}{6-}, but it would be Fohrenbach's {J-Spades}{9-Spades} that would put him in a can't lose situation.

The {Q-Spades} on the river only improved his hand as Fohrenbach moved to 400,000 while Speake slipped to just under 100,000.

Trujillo Toppled

Sean Getzwiller opened to 25,000 and was flat-called by John Gordon before Michael Trujillo moved all in. Getzwiller made the call as Gordon pushed his cards to the muck.

Getzwiller: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades}
Trujillo: {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}

In a classic race for Trujillo's tournament survival, the {8-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{4-Clubs} board would end his run in Event #8 as Getzwiller climbs to 485,000 in chips.

Goggin Grabs Chip Lead

Livello 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Christopher Goggin opened to 24,000 from under-the-gun and Kyle Speake shoved his remaining 97,000 into the middle from the big. Goggin called.

Goggin: {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}
Speake: {A-Spades}{J-Hearts}

Goggin didn't even have a sweat, as the board came {3-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{2-Spades}, eliminating Speake and chipping up to a commanding 850,000.

Schmidt Silenced

Livello 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Samantha Cohen entered the pot with a raise to 26,000 only to have Daniel Haglund three-bet to 60,000 from a few seats over. With the action on Brian Schmidt, he moved all in for 79,000 to force a fold from Cohen and a call from Haglund.

Schmidt: {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}
Haglund: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}

With Schmidt needing to spike to stay alive, the {5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts} board would see him hit the rail as Haglund climbs to 450,000 in chips.

Young Pushes

With the action folding to Jordan Young in the small blind, he eyed up Chase Olsen's stack in the big blind before announcing all in for roughly 300,000.

Olsen took a quick peep at his hand before folding as Young shook his head and flashed his {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades} visibly showing signs of frustration at not getting action.

With that pot, Young moved to just over 300,000 while Olsen slipped to 150,000 in chips.

Mount Meets His Maker

Livello 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

After David Peters min-raised to 20,000, Kevin Mount reraised the rest of his chips and Peters decided to make the call.

Showdown:
Mount: {K-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}
Peters: {A-Clubs}{10-Spades}

Mount needed help from the deck in order to come from behind, but the flop of {7-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{8-Spades} was not what he had in mind.

A {7-Diamonds} on the turn was a blank for Mount and he was down to one card for his tournament life, needing to spike a king for the win.

River: {2-Hearts}

And with that, Mount was eliminated from the tournament and Peters added another bounty to his growing chip stack.

Huge Pot Puts Haglund on Top

Daniel Haglund open-raised to 22,000 from the cutoff and Christopher Goggin cut out a raise to 60,000 and stuck it in the middle.

Haglund announced he was all-in for 422,00 and Goggin thought for a little bit and said, "Alright, I call."

Haglund: {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}
Goggin: {J-Spades}{J-Hearts}

Although a small favorite going into the flop, Goggin's jacks shrunk considerably on the {A-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{2-Hearts} board, pairing Haglund *and* giving him the nut-flush redraw. The {K-Clubs} turn and {4-Spades} river sealed the deal for Haglund, who raked in the enormous pot.
