Miststep By Marquez Doubles Riley

Livello 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Lawrence Riley decided to risk his tournament life and shoved all in for his last 150,000 or so in chips. Anna Marquez thought it over for a few seconds before making the call and showing down {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} and hoping for a coin flip.

Unfortunately for Marquez, Riley held {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts} and Marquez would need to spike an eight or a miraculous board of straight or flush cards to take the pot.

The dealer revealed a final board of {4-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{A-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and Riley's jacks held up, padding his stack while crippling Marquez in the process.

Olsen Getting Low

Livello 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Stuart Krasney opened to 25,000 from middle position and Chase Olsen made the call from the big blind to see a {7-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop fall.

Olsen checked and Krasney pushed out a stack of chips amounting to roughly 210,000.

With only 75,000 behind, Olsen opted to muck his hand while slipping to a very low seven big-blind stack.

Driscoll Drills a Queen to Down Shane's Ducks

Livello 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

We caught the action as Jonathan Driscoll and Brandon Shane were involved in an all-in confrontation. Driscoll was the shorter of the stacks and was at risk, holding {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} against the {2-}{2-} held by Shane.

We were off to the races, and as the dealer spread a flop of {8-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}, Driscoll's hand improved to top pair, top kicker. Shane was hunting for ducks at that point, but the turn and river fell {K-Hearts} and {9-Clubs} respectively, doubling Driscoll up to approximately 250,000 chips.

Jordan Getting Some Air

Jordan Young opened his hijack with a raise to 22,000 and Stuart Kransey defended his big blind to see a {7-Clubs}{j-Spades}{5-Spades} flop fall.

Young's 18,000-chip continuation-bet was checked called by Kransey before the {8-Diamonds} was checked through on the turn.

When the {4-Hearts} spiked on the river, Kransey led for 28,000, and after thinking for nearly two minutes, Young made the call, tabling his {K-Spades}{4-Spades}.

"Ace-high!" announced Kransey as he flashed his {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts} before stating - after now realizing Young had his hand tabled - "You're so lucky kid!"

Young is now sitting on 450,000 in chips.

Turner Turns on the Heat, Retakes Chip Lead

Livello 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Jon "PearlJammer Turner" opened for 21,000 from the cutoff and Sadan Turker made it 63,000 to go from the small blind. Turner called.

The flop read {9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and Turker led out for 75,000. Turner responded by min-raising to 150,000. Turker thought for a while, but landed on a call.

The turn came a {Q-Spades} and Turker opted to check. Turner kept the pressure on, firing out 180,000. Turker folded.

The man known as "PearlJammer" is sitting with 1,020,000 - good enough for the chip lead.

Cupello Crippled By Queen in the Window

Livello 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Justin Truesdell shipped his stack into the middle and, with a stack slightly larger than that of his opponent, Franco Cupello made the call. Cupello flipped up his {A-Spades}{9-Clubs} and was in the lead against the {Q-Hearts}{10-Hearts} held by Truesdell.

Both players stood as the dealer prepared to reveal the flop, and when Cupello saw the {Q-Spades} was the door card, he exclaimed "right in the window, of course!" The final board read {Q-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{5-Spades} and with that, Cupello is left with only a few thousand chips, while Truesdell has chipped up to nearly 165,000.
