Sean Getzwiller doubles up
Sean Getzwiller doubles up

After Jon Turner folded from the button, Sean Getzwiller raised to 165,000 and Sadan Turker decided to shove all-in. Getzwiller snap-called with authority in his voice and tabled his {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}, standing up to await the flop. Turker flipped up his {2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} with disappointment and found himself hunting for ducks.

The flop rained down {4-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} and Getzwiller's aces had held up so far. The turn fell {9-Hearts} and Turker now needed to spike a deuce and a deuce only on the river to claim the pot.

River: {Q-Hearts}

With that, Getzwiller had doubled his stack of 3,090,000 to just over 6 million and took the chip lead early on in this final table. After the hand, Getzwiller told the other players that he had already had pocket aces earlier in the match, meaning he is running extremely well to start the evening.
