Jon Turner Packs It In

Sean Getzwiller folded from the button and following his plan of hyper aggression before the flop, Sadan Turker shoved all-in on a short stacked Jon Turner.

Turner squeezed his cards and when he saw the {8-Hearts}{8-Spades} he immediately made the call to put his tournament life at risk. Turker appeared to be stunned by the call and showed his {Q-Spades}{4-Diamonds} with disgust. Turner was in great shape to double up and needed the dealer to do him justice.

Flop: {A-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{J-Clubs}

The man known as "PearlJammer" online had survived the flop and needed to avoid the three queens in the deck to survive his all-in confrontation.

Turn: {Q-Clubs}

When the dealer revealed the dagger of a turn card, Turner stood up and tapped the table as he began packing up his belongings. He would need to spike an eight on the river to stay alive.

River: {9-Diamonds}

The players all had to look back and check that the eight of diamonds had not fallen, but when they saw that it was indeed a nine, Turner began the long, lonely walk to the cashier's cage, having come tantalizingly close to claiming his first WSOP bracelet.
