Welcome to Event#9: $1,500 2-7 Draw Lowball
It's the Deuce to Seven Lowball event, one of the most high variance gambling games that we'll see at the WSOP this year. Last year Yan Chen won this event ahead of Mike Wattel to win a bracelet and $92,817 for his first place finish.
For those who are unfamiliar with deuce to seven, players are dealt five cards and are allowed to draw between none and all of their cards before another round of betting. is the nut hand but the scope for big plays is huge as you get no information about the other players' hand apart from their betting amount and the number of cards they are drawing.
Play begins at 5pm.
