Livello 9 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Heads-up on a flop of 355, Lewis Spencer raised from the big blind to 45,000 and Koray Aldemir called in the hijack.

Soverel Spikes the River to Double

Livello 9 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Sam Soverel moved all in for 151,000 from the big blind and was up against Philip Sternheimer in the hijack.

Sam Soverel: 55
Philip Sternheimer: JJ

The 467 flop gave Soverel a number of additional outs as he now had a straight flush draw. Soverel began rubbing his hands together and placed his 5 by the board as the dealer turned over the 2.

The river, though, came the 5 and Soverel hit a set to double up and leave Sternheimer as an extreme short stack.

After John Hennigan opened from the cutoff, button Bin Weng put in a three-bet to 62,000 as action folded to Phil Hellmuth in the big blind. Hellmuth used a time bank before moving all in for around 275,000. Hennigan folded, but Weng snap-called.

Phil Hellmuth: JJ
Bin Weng: AA

Hellmuth found himself in trouble after seeing Weng's two aces and couldn't find any miracles on the KQ10Q7 board.

"Nice hand. I didn't see that coming," Hellmuth told Weng, who got up from his seat to shake Hellmuth's hand.

Action folded to Keith Lehr in the small blind who raised enough to put Shaun Deeb all in. "Don't be stupid. You've got a lot of chips," Lehr told Deeb, who eventually called for his last 260,000.

Shaun Deeb: K10
Keith Lehr: A10

Deeb found himself dominated and at risk as the 1068 flop gave both players to pair. The board ran out 86 and Lehr's ace-kicker played to send Deeb to the rail early on Day 2.

Livello 9 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Heads-up on a board of 75J5, Phil Hellmuth bet 15,000 and John Hennigan called from the small blind.

The river came the 2 and Hennigan checked over to Hellmuth, who fired out another 18,000. Hennigan now came back with a raise to 52,000 and Hellmuth, after confirming the amount, quickly called.

"Nice hand, buddy," Hellmuth told Hennigan. "It could've been worse. You could've moved in. I would've snapped."
