Both players checked the 9♦ river. Winter showed 10♣7♥ and Mateos K♥6♥. "I put you on king high, and I didn't bluff!" regretted Winter.

The river came the 3♠ and Lehr led out for another 400,000. Hallay called once again and Lehr snap-mucked his cards. Hallay turned over his A♣Q♦ for ace-high to take the pot.

Schindler Doubles Twice Off Moore

Moore kept the lead on the 3♦5♦5♠ flop with two pair, but Schindler moved in front on the 9♦ turn. The river came the A♠ and Schindler secured the double up.

A few hands later, Schindler defended his big blind from a raise by Moore and saw a flop of 9♣3♥6♦. He moved all in for 225,000 and Moore called with A♦7♠. Schindler had the J♠3♠ this time for a pair of threes and earned yet another double up as the board came 2♦K♥.

The turn came 10♥. Halley opened again, this time for 140,000 and Pu jammed all in for his remaining 600,000. Hallay snapped him off, rolling over 6♥5♠ for the flopped straight. Pu had K♥Q♥ for the flush draw, but the river bricked out, sending him to the cashier's cage in 15th place.

Shortly after taking a big portion of his stack, Chance Kornuth put the final dagger in Sam Lasowitz.

According to Kornuth, Laskowitz was all in for 300,000 on a flop of Qx8x5x with 9♦6♦ and Kornuth had K♣Q♣ for top pair. Laskowitz couldn't find any help on the turn and river and hit the rail in 16th place.

"How many players who knock out," tablemate Bin Weng asked as Kornuth stacked up more than 5,000,000.

The river came the 7♦ and both players checked. Weng turned over Q♣5♦ for the small flush, and Laskowitz released his hand.

The river came the 3♥ and Laskowitz continued betting, this time for 260,000. Kornuth again called and Laskowitz was forced to show J♣9♦ for a bluff as Kornuth took the pot with A♣7♦.

After the hand, Bin Weng said he folded 3♦2♦ in the small blind and would've flopped a straight flush.

"Got to play the heater," tablemate Sean Winter said.

"I reraise him if I have more chips," Weng replied.

But the fireworks started when the 5♣ hit the river. Lichtenberger led out for 40,000. Sion used two time banks considering the one liner straight and flush draws that had hit, then raised to 380,000. Lichtenberg threw his cards away regretfully, and Sion dragged the pot.

The turn came the 7♥ and Weng checked over to Kornuth, who continued betting for 285,000. Weng again called as the 5♥ appeared on the river.

Kornuth this time used some of the new brown 100,000 chips to assemble a bet of 640,000 and slide it into the middle. Weng went through two time bank cards before he called.

Kornuth turned over A♥4♦ for two pair and Weng mucked to take a significant hit to his stack.
