Le Doubles Through Chambers Before Break

Livello 22 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 0 ante
Allan Le
Allan Le

No-Limit Hold 'em

Following a raise to 40,000 in the small blind from Walter Chambers, Allan Le moved all in from the big blind for 175,000. Chambers called to put Le at risk.

Allan Le: A8
Walter Chambers: KK

Chambers had Le drawing thin, but a flop of AAJ changed that instantly, giving Le trips. The 64 runout clinched the hand for Le to double him up before break.

On the first hand back from break, Andrew Barfield got his last 350,000 in the middle from the big blind and was up against Michael Estes on the button.

Andrew Barfield: A10
Michael Estes: AJ

The Q94 flop left Barfield with two outs as Estes picked up a flush draw. "That will make it harder," a tablemate said.

The board ran out 69 and Estes sent Barfield to the rail in 17th place.

Yueqi Zhu Eliminated in 16th Place

No-Limit Hold 'em

After Yueqi Zhu raised to 47,000 under the gun and got a call from Walter Chambers on the button, Per Hildebrand made it 160,000 to go from the big blind.

Both players called and a big pot was brewing, with Zhu only holding 155,000 behind.

On the 92Q flop, Hildebrand led for 200,000, Zhu called off his stack, and after some thought, Chambers also called.

The turn was the J and after Hildebrand now checked, Chambers moved all in for about 650,000. Hildebrand folded and he had Zhu at risk.

Yueqi Zhu: AA
Walter Chambers: QJ

The river 10 couldn't save Zhu as Chambers cracked his aces to win a huge pot and move up toward the chip lead.

Suzuki bet on seventh before Clements raised. Zyrin tanked for a moment before calling. Suzuki then put in a reraise and Clements called.

Zyrin got out of the way and Suzuki turned over 101010 for quads. Clements showed his A4 for the nut flush as Suzuki took down the massive pot to open up a big chip lead.
