With a record-breaking Day 1 for Event #50: $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas 2023 World Series of Poker drawn to its conclusion, 266 of the 688 entrants will be returning for the start of Day 2 play, which has been pushed back to 2 p.m.
This field size is already up by 47 entries from last year, ensuring the remaining competitors will be battling it out over the felt for a slice of the $6,398,400 prize pool which can still grow. Though no official first-prize payout has been confirmed, with this being the largest Pot-Limit Omaha Championship event in World Series of Poker history, it’s sure to impress.
Coming into Day 2 with the chip lead is Daniel Aharoni, who is starting the day with 535,000 chips. Aharoni is one of two players that will be seated with 200 big blinds or more to start, the other being Motoyoshi Okamura who manage to accumulate an equally impressive 500,000.

With registration open until the start of the Day 2, many more notable names are expected to surface. Potential late registrations include both Phil Ivey and Phil Hellmuth, as both their deep runs in this year's $50,000 Poker Players Championship have come to an end.
Day 2 commences at 2 p.m. local time on Thursday, June 22nd, in the Horseshoe Event Center in the Silver and Gold sections. Players will play through ten 60-minute levels with a break every two levels for 15 minutes. Players will also have a 60-minute dinner break, which was scheduled for after Level 16, but may change due to the later start time.
