Stanislav Halatenko raised from middle position to 150,000, which was called by the hijack, Florencio Bunal in the cutoff and the big blind.

The flop came Q♣6♠10♠ and the action checked to Bunal who bet the pot for 690,000, committing most of his stack. Only Halatenko called.

The 2♠ checked through to the 9♣ on the river. Halatenko put in the remaining 250,000 chips to put Bunal all in.

Bunal thought over his decision for some time before finally deciding to call off for this tournament life.

William Kopp Eliminated in 16th Place ($48,800)

Stanislav Halatenko raised from under the gun and was called by William Kopp in the big blind. The flop brought 10♣9♥6♥ and Kopp check-called a bet worth 200,000. They headed to the 8♣ on the turn and Kopp checked again. Halatenko now fired a bet of 700,000 and the dealer confirmed there were 790,000 in the pot when Kopp inquired, who then called.

The 8♦ river completed the board and Kopp checked the third street in a row. Halatenko paused for just five seconds and announced all-in. A mere thirty seconds later, Kopp called and that triggered some gasps from the other players at the table.

Kopp exposed his J♣10♥9♠7♣ for a jack-high straight but it was no good, as the J♠8♠7♦6♦ of Halatenko had made eights full of sixes.

"Nice hand ... hand of the tournament," Arthur Morris declared in the table chat.

Jaspal Brar was spotted on his way to the payout desk as the flurry of casualties on the last three tables continued without time to breathe.

Brar had three-bet jammed a short stack from the button with the A♦K♠5♠3♦ and was called by cutoff raiser Peng Shan. The latter revealed Q♦J♦10♠9♣ as he was aiming to score another knockout.

According to Brar, the A♥K♣Q♥ flop gave him the top two pair while Shan's broadway stayed ahead. Two low blanks followed and that ended the run of Brar in 20th place for $48,800.

From under the gun, Sebastian Trisch raised the pot to 175,000 and Ren Lin checked the stack behind of the German before he called from one seat over. They headed to the K♠Q♠6♣ flop on which Trisch bet the pot with little behind.

"Kings or aces?" the chatty Lin asked and then added "okay, if you have it, you have it," before piling in the chips. Trisch called it off and the cards were exposed.
